The hotel was very nice. The food at the Italian restaurant was terrific as well as the short rib nachos in the lobby. The place felt very secure, but I never felt unsafe really at all during my week in Cairo.

However, I had issues with wake up calls, a bed that sagged, curtain

The rooms with a Nile view are particularly nice. The room was clean, well appointed with a comfortable bed and nice amenities in the bathroom. The room was very quiet. The hotel has a high level of security with guarded entrances and mandatory scanners. The lobby and bar are

We have stayed here two times and loved it. The rooms were great and ours were facing the Nile. The food was delightful and the service as well. We will definitely stay here next time we come to Egypt.

Classy modern hotel, very clean with great service. We had a room over looking the Nile, the view was amazing especially at night. Quite expensive but worth every $ if you want luxury. Restaurant serves great food, quality of the food was fresh, tasty and flavourful.

After a few fabulous, but long days touring Cairo, checking in the RC was heavenly. As if all the noise and chaos subsided and you're surrounded by beautiful flowers, calmness, and incredibly helpful staff. We had a suite with a connecting room for the kids. It was huge and ex

I'm planning to stay in October with the family (husband and two kids).I have 2 questions: 1/ Can a double/double room accommodate four of us? 2/ are kids allowed in the club lounge? if not do they offer breakfast at the restaurant (we are Platinum elite member). TIA.
Room will easily accommodate the four of you. I'm not sure about kids in the lounge, but see no reason not to

I stayed at the wonderful Nile Ritz Carlton in December 2016 in a Club Room and loved the quality and variety of food that was available throughout the day, including an evening food presentation that was large enough to be a dinner. I just read a tripadvisor review stating that the Club no longer has any food presentation after breakfast. Is that true? I'm planning on coming to the Ritz in August with my two sons for vacation, but upgrading to a Club Room or Suite with Club access if there is no food in the Club doesn't seem to make sense. Does the Club still offer a lunch and dinner buffet if any size? What variety of good is now available after breakfast?
That was probably my review. I was just there in June and there is nothing after breakfast. I was told by the staff that because of the lack of demand they do not put out any buffet. However, they do allow you to order room service menu food directly to the club lounge complementary. That sounds like a pretty good deal but I don't know how long it would take to arrive. I was really disappointed to see just how empty the place was and I'm sure it's due to the economy but also could've been because I was there during Ramadan. Good luck and report back if things are different then I say but it looks like a relatively permanent change. As each time I visited the lounge we were the only ones in the lounge at about 6 PM! Very surprising at 6 PM to be the only ones looking out over the Nile and the pyramids at sunset! Sorry for my delay in responding to your question.

Do all rooms have balconies?
No not all rooms only the suites and the junior suites......the old hotel before renovation when it was known as the Nile Hilton actually had a balcony in every single room whether you were looking westward or eastward. At that time air conditioning wasn't the make or break deal it is now. Every room however has a glass panel that overlooks the view
