Yesterday we returned from Caïro to Belgium and I would like to thank you for our stay at the charming hostel. It was excellent. The staff was very helpful and perfectly informed about openinghours of mosqs and museums, prices of taxis, things to do in het city, excursions...The guide with whom we did the trip to Gizeh, Saqqara and Dahshur...

Anyone who's spent some time there would agree, Cairo is a tough town. I changed hotels twice because of unresolvable problems before coming to Dahab. It's a really interesting space on the roof of an old building near Tahrir Square in central Cairo. I had a little bungalow that was extremely affordable though a bit cold at night (I wish...

I moved to Dahab hostel two weeks ago and I have loved my time there. The staff is so nice and friendly and they feel like family. The workers are so hospitable and make you feel at home at all times. The location is ideal because the hostel is 5 minutes walk away from the metro station. The Nile is...

A beautiful rooftop hostel in the center of Cairo. If you take the elevator up you leave the noise and rush of the city behind you. It's cheap, very central and you have such a good atmosphere. You meet a lot of people there because in fact the hostel just consists of many different rooftop parts. The staff is super...

It's the whole package - affordable, neat, helpful staff, wonderful stories from travelers, plenty of AIESECers and an enthusiastic proprietor who spends his free time with his guests. I was in Cairo to present a technical paper at the Marriott in Zamalek and as a student, my budget was tighter than the crack James Franco fell into in 127 Hours....

The Dahab hostel is an oasis literally, in the middle of busy and crowded downtown it offers a space were you can feel comfortable and calm down. To choose a lovely place to relax you just have to buzz a little bit aroung and you will discover nice corners between huge plants or on the rooftop, from where you have...

Great communication, friendly staff, convenient location, and fairly priced tours! I really enjoyed staying at this hostel. I did many tours with them and they cut you a good deal. They also pick you up at the airport.

I stayed for two nights in the hostel in a private room with bathroom and it was worth the money. The Egyptian Museum is near by which is great. There are several tours the hostel can book for you. I took the tour to Giza Pyramids, Dashur and Sakkura. It was 25 U.S. dollars, please note this only includes a...

For all the solo travellers , you guys must stay at dahab hostel. The hostel is at 6th floor but the antique elevator ride is quite amazing. The staff is very friendly . You can find so many people with different nationalities. The best part was the roof top party which the management threw for us. The party was a nice...

Dahab Hostel, Your Oasis in the City... It has been open since 1998. It has been registered in all the major guidebooks and has consistently received positive reviews. Dabab Hostel is centrally located in the heart of Downtown Cairo. It is just a 3-minute-walking distance to the Egyptian Museum in Tahrir Sq., and within easy reach to the main train and bus stations. Dabab Hostel has its own special charm. It is a collection of whitewashed huts on the rooftop attempting to recreate the feel of Sinai beach camp in an unremittingly urban Downtown Cairo. Once you get inside, you will definitely sense the totally laid-back, chilled out and cozy atmosphere. The outdoor garden area is just superb for lounging around and catching up with other travelers in the evening. The breeze is refreshing and the vibe is incontestable. It is an ideal place for artistic travellers as well. Enjoy the fantastic reggae music played, laying back in the sun, smoking Shisha 'Water pipe' on the rooftop at the Bedwin corner. Sit back & relax, plan your itineraries & catch up with your family & friends by logging onto our new optimized FREE WiFi Broadband Internet coverage for the entire hostel.
