This is a fabulous hotel. The room we had was fantastic, and the staff very friendly and helpful. They also have a free hourly shuttle service to the airport. They ARE however much closer to the airport than central Cairo. It was quite a drive to get to the city. So my issues... SOME staff were "Tip Hoverers" ... only...

This hotel is 33 years old and was built by the British in 1979 in a colonial style. It has not changed much since then, and still is full of the old-fashioned charm and courtesy so often lacking in hotels nowadays. Built in a square shape with a pool in the centre, it is welcoming, friendly and efficient, as well...

I was in Cairo for business a few days ago and fortunately booked this hotel for a 2 night stay. I was hesitant to even make the trip due to the unrest in the country but once I arrived at the hotel, all was calm. There was lots of security as one enters the hotel via a rather long, long...

A very well designed resort, spacious rooms, very clean, lots of activities on sight (Cinemas, Shops, horse riding) Free WIFI, Big outdoor pool. The Egyptian restaurant offers delicious authentic cuisine with a twist. Staff are very well trained and extremely polite and helpful. Certainly one of the best hotels in Cairo eventhough a bit far from the center but this...

Tour groups, as is general, are accommodated in cheaper room. Not all rooms have floor to ceiling windows or balconies. The service in main restraunt was not good but there are several restaurant choices and some are not expensive, however, one fellow traveller complained about having to wait half hour for burger and it being cold when it arrived at his...

We stayed here 3 years ago during our last night in Cairo. the hotel is bit classy and old. The room is quite big and cozy. Haven't really had the chance to look around for just a short period of time. It also offers free shuttle bus going to the airport which is the good thing. Taxi drivers are driving...

This hotel is very very good. The lounge was more like a restaurant but still very nice no the less. The staff were very good and helpful. The proximity to the airport makes it the best option in the area. The food was good and the rooms were clean.... the bonus was free wifi.... the negative was the band that...

Room was nice - no complaints. Pool is good and service around pool was OK. Food was also OK. Ideal for short stay, as it is a bit far out of town, and with traffic, it could be a bit of a drag, but proximity to airport for arrival and departure is a big plus.
