The place was really nice for its simplicity and calm atmosphere. I had a great experience in cairo despite the short period of...

Please take this review with a grain of salt. I had a horrible time in Cairo, so I am not sure how objective my review of this hostel will be, but I will try. When I arrived, there were no rooms available so I had to wait, which wasn't a problem since I was early, but all the bathrooms are...

the hotel was clean and the staff was helpful, the room with private bathroom and satellite TV and with very good price, the only thing was the elevator which I think was old, the hotel is on a busy street and you can pop out and in to buy anything you want from morning until night . on the street.

The hostel is well located, close to a metro station and to the Egyptian Museum. The toilets were broken in the bathroom of the triple room but otherwise the rooms were nice. Using the elevator can be quite an adventure but if you understand how to use it, it works The staff wanted to charge for the internet access, that...

On reflection, I think Tripadvisor needs a 'hostel' section as well as hotel and B&B. This is definitely not a B&B in the sense I have become used to seeing reviewed in Tripadvisor. The ranking as the 7th out of 37 B&B's in Cairo is really quite misleading. Indeed, the staff call this a hostel and not a hotel. The...

“If possible, choose a room which is the farthest away from the common room and reception desk. This will help you get a better sleep, as these rooms are quieter, and you will more removed from the cigarette smoke which permeates the air.”
