1) pick-up from the airport didn't show up. + They would have charged almost the double (100 EGP) of what a regular taxi costs (50 EGP). 2) Very difficult to find. 3) No power nor running water for 2 hours on day of arrival. 4) Wanting to make a higher exchange rate from USD to EGP than the official one...

The hostel itself is fine. Things are in decent repair, internet is average, breakfast was plain but good. It's not especially social and not a great place to meet new people on its own. That being said, I still recommend this hostel over any other in the city, because Old Cairo is by far the best place to stay. Giza...

I stayed at Arabian Nights Hotel after leaving a very bad hotel in Cairo called Sun Hotel (highly do not recommend that hotel because of the sexual harassment and assault I endured by its staff). On the contrary, the Arabian Nights hotel was a real breath of fresh air after the aforementioned hotel experience. The staff were full of knowledge...

My wife and I stayed here for a second time and loved it. The hotel has undergone some refurbishment and looks much nicer than it did on our last visit. We looked around for other hotels in the same price range and found 'Arabian nights' to offer the best value room in terms of room size, cleanliness, room/hotel amenities (laundry,...

I phoned Mahmoud directly (his number is on their website) to book my room and arranged my airport pickup. Driver was polite and friendly and on time. I got a room with private bathroom, which included wifi...

We have enjoyed our 7 nights stay here even though it is true that Wi-Fi is available only in the lobby (we stayed in a room in the 1st floor and we didn't have signal there) and the room looked like it needed a full make over and the included breakfast was very frugal and the same each morning... However...

This hotel is very nice for the low budget. Stuff / owner is nice and helpful. Hotel is clean. I checked this place before I booked a room. It was no problem to look at the rooms. Usually I prefer single room with bath. But here I considered different, as the room leading to the front with window to the...
