Hotel Luna is still one of the best budget hotels in Cairo. The location is perfect for shopping, cafes, restaurants, Cairo Museum (10 minute walk), metro (public transport), night-life, the Nile (15 minute walk). The rooms are large and airy with air conditioning, and extra blankets. The showers are hot and lovely, the rooms, beds and linen clean. The hotel is...

It was for me nice to stay there with nice staff and nice location in the canter of Cairo. maybe this hotel is good just for sleeping if you will stay all your day outside. if you want to spend a nice time in the hotel with activities you should search for another.

Pros: 1. Location 2. Wifi not bad 3. Staff is friendly and genuinely wants to help 4. 50 egp per night is damn cheap Cons: 1. Entrance and ground floor of the building are full of garbage 2. All the lights in this "hostel" are white dimmed fluorescent - giving this place a depressing, tired cheap look 3. No hostel...

This hostel is quite pricey, and you can probably find the same or better for cheaper in the area - we did. That being said, there are a few positives worth mentioning here - clean common bathrooms, good AC, comfortable beds, convenient location on Sharia Talaat Harb. The downsides, which made us look elsewhere after a few days: the WiFi...

In the past few weeks that I spent in Egypt staff from some (not to be named) budget hotels tried to push me to this place when they had a small problem. It seems to be part of an arrangement between the budget hotels, to host as much foreigners as possible in Luna. I dont like this... First of all,...

This hostel had home feelings and the staff makes it more comfortable stay. The location of this hostel is the heart of downtown where all the shops are around and you get very cheap food from Kazaz my favourite restaurant. Their rooms are cosy and clean with street view. worth its value..

Location, location, location. The best location for a hotel in Cairo. Close to banks, a mall, restaurants and the Museo. Agree with another review, the entrance is quite creepy, but is not a big deal. The staff is great. Ahmad is awesome, he help us a lot to plan our days around Cairo. I do have to say the plumbing...

Two weeks ago I spent another three days at Luna on a visit to Cairo. The hotel was comfortable and pleasant and the staff congenial, as always. In the lobby, the radio softly playing Western classical music has lately been replaced by the usual jabbering TV, bringing the atmosphere down a notch. Luna is about a ten-minute walk from Tahrir...

This small budget hotel is ideally located in downtown Cairo on a very lively avenue. Staff is wonderful, always ready to help and make you feel at home. Breakfeasts are included in the room rate and decent enough for Egypt. Our room was large and airy. But the sleep quality was mediocre for two important reasons; one, the mattress on...

This place is on the 5th floor in the downtown area of cairo. The celling hight is great, the rooms are lived in. While the hotel is clean there is an air of grubyness to the place. The staff are helpful, if at times a little pushy. Being on the fifth floor there can be issues with the hot water...
