Convenient location but a little run down, room smelled like smoke. My biggest beef. The hotel description states it has a great gym, so that is one of the main reasons I choose it. When you arrive the hotel there also is a large sign on the outside advertising the gym. As it turns out the do not allow guests...

The hotel porters greet you with such formal respect that you feel like a celebrity. The stuff are very polite and very helpful. I had a very nice stay in the hotel. The only drawback is the Gym and Sauna facilities. These are no longer for the guests because its a sports club with membership which is horrible and should...

We arrived early but was not able to check in till noon. The room was on the 6th floor, it has the odour of cigarette even though it was a non smoking room. But house keeping was nice to freshen up the room immediately. The staff spoke very good English, The breakfast was good with the usual egg & sausage...

I recently stayed here during business travel to Seoul. The location was certainly convenient for the Gangnam area; the Incheon Airport limousine bus dropped off and picked up directly in front of the hotel, and it was only about a mile walk to COEX. The room was clean (though not particularly modern), and the staff was courteous during all interactions.

If you're on business in the gangnam area and basically just need a bed, then it is fine. Rooms are small. Beds are hard. Bathrooms are tight. But for (typically) under $100, can't go wrong I guess. The sauna is quite good however.

I stayed for business trip. It is quite convenient for business trip user. Goof location for business in Gangnam area. However, it would not suitable for sightseeing purpose since it is quite inconvenient for Meyongdong area. No subway station nearby. Without taxi it is hard to go around in Seoul. There are some small restaurants nearby hotel. No need to...

Best days of this hotel are behnd. Rooms are not up to modern international standards, need renovation. Breakfast is also very average and staff is not very attentive. Wod not stay again, Seoul certainly has better business hotels with reasonable price.

This is perhaps the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. They know absolutely no English. Would you believe it, I asked the Room Service to send me a 'Spoon' and they had no idea what I was talking about. I was transferred to the Front Desk, who then transferred me elsewhere and so on. I was finally transferred to...

When you reach Incheon International Airport, you can take bus service 5010 which takes around an hour to reach this Hotel. Bus fare is roughly US$15. The bus will stop directly in front of the hotel. The bus service starts as early as 5-6 am. There are also many Taxi waiting outside the hotel if you need one so there...

Most of the hotel guests come from Asia, and you can tell immediately by the many review written in oriental languages. This is confirmed at breakfast where food is mostly asian. No wonder that my colleague and I were the only westerners. I used the hotel only to sleep and get my clothes changed, but had an overall good impression....

Staying in Apgujeong / Cheongdam

Neighbourhood Profile
Apgujeong / Cheongdam
Aside from Sinsa / Garosugil, no other area in Seoul connotes the words “luxury” and “fancy” like Apgujeong and Cheongdam. Global luxury brands have set up their flagship stores here, catering to the neighbourhood's mostly affluent residents. It’s also one of the top areas in Korea (some say the world) for cosmetic surgery, attracting hundreds of thousands each year for a little nip or tuck. The other parts of Apgujeong and Cheongdam are mostly lavish residential buildings for some of Seoul’s most affluent alongside extravagant restaurants, bars, spas, and other spots for indulgence. And Cheongdam has long been a bastion for flashy clubs and parties, though in recent years, Itaewon has emerged as a strong challenger to those claims.
