It is not the first time I stayed at this hotel, so I can say surely it has a great location in the heart of Seoul, a block away from Insadong, near several entertainment areas, restaurants, street stores and department stores and subway stations.

Stayed here for 12 nights with my family (2 ad, 2 ch) and choose it for two things; the price and the location.
This is a budget hotel so you get what you pay for but for us it was great. Rooms are perfectly ok...More
The hotel is simple and no-frills. I stayed here when I had the chance to bum around Seoul for a couple of days by myself, and the room was tiny, but functional. It's in the middle of Seoul, and metro/bus access is a breeze, since...More

Rows of shops display traditional Korean goods such as pottery and earthenware, crafts, fans, and more, making it a popular spot for souvenir shopping. The Ssamziegil shopping complex in particular has become a local institution for its unique spiral layout and the many boutique shops

inside that sell handmade crafts and goods. This is the perfect neighborhood to sample a range of Korean dishes, with vegetarian Korean temple cuisine restaurants being a popular draw, but street food carts are just as famous. As a top tourist destination, crowds can swell, particularly on weekends, but you can find some rest and respite in one of the private art galleries or grab a cup of Korean tea in a tea house – many of which are located in beautifully renovated traditional Korean homes.

Hi,
There is no gym as far as I know. At least not one they advertise of and we could not see one either.
There is no pool for only the hotel guests. However there is a large swimming pool in the same building as the hotel. I'm not sure about the opening hours and availability since they have scheduled classes/team training there (my aunt goes to one).
I would recommend that you contact the hotel to find out the details. TA won't allow me to enter the link to the hotel (ymca[dot]or[dot].kr[slash]hotel) but you should be able to find it on Google.
