Amazing location, only 5 minutes walking distance from the known Itaewon Street where the heart of Seoul is beating! The hotel and room was clean, staff were friendly, good internet connection and nice breakfast. Overall, I paid 80USD per night including the breakfast. It was good value for money.

I stayed in this hotel for 4 days bcuz its near to Phil Consulate in Korea. Very near to Itaewon shopping center. 10 - 15 mins by taxi to Namdaemon a place for street market. The hotel staffs in the front desk are not polite & seemed iritated to customers who are asking information & help. Since i cant speak... More

Room: Quite large and comfortable. Aircon a little bit worn but still cold enough. The design and its furniture is in classic look which give me a feeling living in eastern culture. Minibar: The hotel offered coffee and tea at its minibar. No mineral water provided. Bathroom - Bathroom was average. A little dark as the lighting not ideal. amenities provided.... More

Staff is rude, no WiFi in rooms (you have to use the wifi in the lobby, which is crowded with everyone else conned into staying here), rooms are seriously outdated, poor sound insulation, and far from convenience stores or any food/drink. The cafe's prices are OUTRAGEOUS and totally not worth it. For what you're paying, you'd expect more.

I stayed there for three night. I arrived at checking around 13:30 when the staf told me to wait until 15:00 cause it is the normal checking time ... I said I am very tired and need a rest , the girl answered me you can sleep there , pointing her finger to the waiting area :) ... well, yet... More

First time in Korea and this hotel make me feel like hell. Hotel outside looks ok, even it was built in the 80's and updated in the early 2000. But the room is like hell. It is extremely small, with stupid big furniture. Wifi only in the lobby, no electric adaptor, they can sell you one for 1000 won =$1,... More

It's not extremely expensive by Korean standards but.. No WiFi in the room, no kettle, no cups, no coffee/tea, no shower gel/shampoo, no water in the room (there is a dispenser in the corridor however), aircon is poor and the TV has so much interference you can't watch it. Also it needs someone to clean out the bathroom drains -... More

As other reviewers have mentioned, the furniture in the room is rather dated. The room was clean, as were the bedsheets and towels. No problem with the shower (hot water available throughout the day). A hairdryer was available in the drawer. No complimentary tea/coffee sachets or jug-kettle. However, a hot/cold water dispenser is available on every floor, so you can... More

The hotel interior design is old fashioned, especially the room which look like you are in the middle of mid 19th century. However, the room was clean and the shower was pretty good with hot water. Cabs were accessible at the main road. Staffs were just average standard, however, there were a few of them could speak good Japanese language.... More

Staying in Itaewon

Neighbourhood Profile
Itaewon
Neighboring the immense Yongsan American Garrison, Itaewon was once shunned by locals as a seedy, red light district. But within the past few years, Itaewon and its surrounding neighborhoods such as Kyunglidan and Haebangchong have undergone a major revival to quickly become one of Seoul’s hottest areas. Here, trendy international restaurants dot the area alongside hip lounge bars and some of Seoul’s hottest club venues. After dark, Itaewon comes into its own as one of Seoul’s top party scenes. The crowd is a fascinating patchwork of all backgrounds and identities, including a small but thriving Muslim community (centered on Korea’s sole mosque), the LGBT community (with a string of popular bars and clubs), and a wide range of ethnicities and cultures scattered around. Those seeking a quiet respite should head towards the eastern end, in Hannam-dong, which not only has one of Korea’s best art museums, the Leeum Samsung Museum of Art, but plenty of mid-range to upscale restaurants and cafes.
