This hotel offers it all, great rooms, nice staff, wonderful views, partying and good food. We stayed in the Club floor which offers snacks and soft drinks all day and full on dinner (although the booking says lighter..) in the evening, incl alcoholic beverages.

We were traveling with our 1 year old and they were extremely welcoming to us and helpful in every way. Walking distance to great food. Next to the park so easy access to Seoul Tower, and we had a view of it from our room. South Korea is a wonderful and easy place to go with young children!

Great hotel! Super Spa and gym, and the staff speaks good English. The restaurants are great as well. They have fantastic life entertainment featuring jazz music as well as pop. There masseuses are excellent.

The lobby is grand and stylish, staff are friendly. Love the breakfast which has many varieties. However, the location is not near any metro and taxis are more convenient. The rooms are quite small compared to other Hyatt hotel in other major cities. What is most annoying is I had to search high and low for sockets outlets in the...

We spent the weekend in Seoul on a couples getaway with friends. I'm not going to slam the hotel, but there are some flaws ... the rooms are small for the price being paid, and the walls are thin. We spent the first two nights waiting for the room next door to "finish their business", which was funny for the...

I have been using this hotel for more than 30 years and most times they are up to my expectations but this was worst stay. Room was nosy toilet broken down in the midnight running water all night. No extra toilet paper. Shuttle bus left before scheduled pick up time etc. What a contrast to HYATT REGENCY IN WAIKIKI where...

Location: The interior of the hotel and the room quality were as great as any 5 star hotels, but the surrounding area lacked lustre, there aren't much to do within 5 minutes of walk from the hotel (the closest interesting place is Itaewon). Booking a cab is no problem, but one has to wait. Service was the best one I...

Staying in Itaewon

Neighbourhood Profile
Neighboring the immense Yongsan American Garrison, Itaewon was once shunned by locals as a seedy, red light district. But within the past few years, Itaewon and its surrounding neighborhoods such as Kyunglidan and Haebangchong have undergone a major revival to quickly become one of Seoul’s hottest areas. Here, trendy international restaurants dot the area alongside hip lounge bars and some of Seoul’s hottest club venues. After dark, Itaewon comes into its own as one of Seoul’s top party scenes. The crowd is a fascinating patchwork of all backgrounds and identities, including a small but thriving Muslim community (centered on Korea’s sole mosque), the LGBT community (with a string of popular bars and clubs), and a wide range of ethnicities and cultures scattered around. Those seeking a quiet respite should head towards the eastern end, in Hannam-dong, which not only has one of Korea’s best art museums, the Leeum Samsung Museum of Art, but plenty of mid-range to upscale restaurants and cafes.
