I was there for UMF Korea that takes place in the Olympic Stadium, a.k.a Jamsil Stadium. The service was excellent. The hotel manager speaks English and can guide you to your destinations (and call you a cab). A lot of restaurants in the neighborhood within short walking distance. There is also a 24hr convenient store 20m away. Lotte World/Castle/and-whatever-they-call-the-other-department-stores are...

During our holiday to Korea, we were advised to stay at a love motel for a night just for the experience, so gave Hotel Cello a go. It certainly was a love motel, but was actually incredibly great value. Compared to what you would pay for a like-for-like hotel in London for example, this was incredibly good value!! The room...

The Cello is a "Love Hotel." I knew this when I booked, but as with many reviewers, I checked out of here after my first night -- even though I knew I would lose the remaining 2 nights I'd paid in advance. It's dark, gloomy, reeks of smoke and is almost impossible to find as it's in a seedy area...

I arrives after a delayed flight at 1am so I ran into 2 definite love hotel customers in the elevator. Definitely makes a good story. Room was big but difficult to figure out how to work everything and ended up without ac even after I went downstairs to get help- was too tired to try again. Bathroom could have been...

Ok, just to be clear, the hotel cello is basically a "love hotel". I'd say, to be fair, it's a former love hotel that's now trying to reposition itself. that means you get a massive tv, surround sound, a computer with internet, and a jacuzzi next to the bed, but the more tacky overtones found in other love hotels have...

Hotel Cello is located in Jamsil, Seoul. It is a ten minute walk from the Metro line 2. I found it a very clean and tidy room and great value for money. It is a love motel, but in the 5 days I stayed there I saw and experienced nothing inappropriate. (Although there were a couple of adult TV channels...

Well being my first time in Seoul, did not know where to stay, reading the reviews from here on Trip Advisor. I had chosen to stay here at Hotel Cello knowing that it's a "love hotel". Well, i don't know what a love hotel was till I saw other people comments. It never bothered me and the front staff was...

So for those of you that aren’t used to the concept of “love hotels”, they are places where the clients go, well... for love. Given that many Koreans live at home until their late 20s or even into their 30s, or have their elderly parents living with their family, they often visit these hotels for a single night or even...

Having read other reviews, I knew this was a love hotel upfront, but booked it for the price anyways. Positive: amenities (shampoo, rinse, soap was changed every day, toner, moisterizer, after shave, lotion, hair brush... ). PC with internet connection in the room (though very old and noisy). Typical love hotel style: Jacuzzi, lots of mirrors, all kinds of lightning...
