Room: condition is average. VERY Thin Wall - we can hear next door's talking! Very small room as expected - with this price in Seoul, you can't ask for more. The bed is like those used in facial center, XD. Tv and air con in the room. (I wonder how you gonna watch the Tv as the sound proof is... More

The staffs are friendly, but the room condition is not as good as expected. I stayed in a twin bedded room with bathroom. The sound proof is really bad that can hear the noise from next door and opposite room. The door has no stopper, so it was really quick and loud when the next door was closing the door,... More

I booked Grape Garden house through Airbnb US$155 for 3 nights. I was planning to go by myself and booked a room with a double size bed . My mom decided to go with me the day before my trip and they said I had to pay them extra 35000 Won in cash, which was extra US$30 .I asked them... More

Just about ten-minute walking distance from Hongik University subway station. Lots of shops and restaurants nearby. But still quiet as it is located inside a corner. The owner can speak fluent English. He is friendly and helpful. However, the reception only operates at 9am and so do inform them of early check in.

The location is spot on, right in the centre of things and close to the metro station. The dorms were clean but only one bathroom so often had to queue to use it. The common area doubles as a reception but doesn't have any comfy seating so not very good for relaxing or socialising. The staff were helpful and the... More

The Grape Garden House has been newly refurbished. We stayed in a 2 bed private ensuite room, and while it was cosy and the beds a little utilitarian, we slept well and the showers were hot and powerful, so what more could you ask for! The room was clean, but the toilet could have been cleaned a little better before... More

The "6-Bed Mixed Dorm" had three sets of bunk beds and used up most of the space in the room. There was a mirror and small night stand by one of the bunk beds and there were small lockers with lock and key for valuables behind the door. The room itself didn't have a lock but the main door to... More

I was bent on staying in Hongdae for this trip and was looking through the many guesthouses that were available in the area. After comparing prices, Grape Garden House (GGH) provided the cheapest twin room (I could find). It is only a short walk from the train station, through the walk you get to walk past many boutiques and cafes... More

I love this location in Hongdae! It's really close to many bars and restaurants in a great location in Seoul. Hip, young area of Seoul that's tons of fun. I highly recommend this guest house for that reason. It was very, very clean and quiet and super easy to get to the subway.

“They have many rooms here, but my favorite would be the room located at the third floor roof top. Great view, Super Private, Comfortable. Although, all the rooms i have stayed in has been wonderful. Starting with the dorm. Has A/c + Heater (always perfect temp. year round) Quiet all hours, Safe, super friendly roomates. All other rooms are privates, which share the same qualities as far as common area goes. But with the luxury of a private room.”
