We have been in that hotel at 3 different dates, first night after arrival in Myanmar, then later one night after visiting Bagan and Mandalay and the last nigiht before our flight back to Europe. Our rooms have been quite different, the first one was oriented to the entrence and the night was very noisy. For the second night we...

From the outside the hotel looks like a dump. When you get inside it is old but beautiful with a lot of wood. It is right on the lake. They have a wooden path around the lake but it is in need of repairs. The location is not the best if you like to walk and explore the city. I...

Situated close to the lake and park, very quiet and a nice contrast to the hectic streets around. We had booked double deluxe room and asked for a room higher up with a good view, but turned out that the only deluxe rooms was on groundfloor with poor locks on the backdoor. We were able to switch to a nice...

Actually no bad remarks to make. Comfortable, good barhrooms with well functioning plumming. Beautifull and stratetig location one of the city lakes. Good kitchen. Well decorated. Former clubhouse of the rowing club in colonial times. Dont't forget to book at Le Rachelle.

We stayed for one night and had no complaints. The room was a good size with all we needed and reliable wifi. The grounds were lovely with the swimming pool looking onto the lake and a life size dinosaur left over from when the hotel was a museum. The breakfast selection was very good, although the egg chef was not...

Stayed here one night. It has a nice view of the pagoda on the lake, but that's about it. Room size is good, but just okay. As mentioned by earlier reviews it can be noisy....we were so tired that we were able to sleep through it. In addition, no hot water for a shower the morning of our departure. Restaurant...

Great helpful staff and service. Very nice and extensive grounds. Nicely done rooms (though the lighting is definitely too low and gloomy), and there is not much space to set things on as far as furniture surfaces. Fabulous breakfast buffet, and the restaurant food (in the most inexpensive of their restaurants) was also quite good if a bit pricey. Each...

Not the 5 star experience we were hoping for. Staff were extremely friendly and efficient but that's where it ended. The room was ok but the bathroom was very tired. The sink was cracked, the bath had a chunk of enamel missing and the bath towels were well past their sell by date. The area where they served breakfast was...

Have stayed in this property many times as a business traveller. Never had an issue. 1st time booked thru an online portal for the family holiday , as the price available was same as the corporate price we used to get. But the care and hospitality was compromised. The rooms booked for the couples were with Queen beds, but the...
