I never liked this hotel from day one but was pursued to stay there. Booked the suite room but was fooled and checked into a normal room, after complaining, was shifted to the suite room. Stayed 3 nights but could sleep hardly for 2 hours each night cos the Aircon was soggy and pathetic. Finally checked out and feeling bloody sick . I will never ever stay in that hotel again and would never recommend to anybody that I know.

The hotel I always stayed at in Yangon was the Parkroyal. Near downtown area, so many small Restaurant near there and walking distant to bogyoke market. Excellent service, clean rooms and wonderful amenities. I bought a bag of coffee beans at a shop down the street and the great staff at the Lobby Bar were kind enough to grid it for me. The beds are very comfortable and I just love the soap provided. I’ll be back!

I couldn't have been more impressed by my stay. My room, which certainly wasn't one of the more expensive in the hotel, was excellent. Bed was large and comfy, and everything worked fine. But it was the hotel staff that really made the difference; every single person with whom I interacted was efficient, polite and always wanted to go the extra mile. Literally everyone deserves praise, but I'll mention those staff whose names I was able to catch from their name badges; Ms Thone Thone, Mr Alex, Ms Thandar and Ms Ni Ni Saw. The excellence of my experience was highlighted after I checked out to stay near the airport for an early flight the next morning: also 4 star, similar price to the Parkroyal, but a very pale shadow of the Parkroyal experience.
