This is one of the oldest hotels in Yangon. Now a days getting there is very hard. Building of a flyover & the increasing traffic in Yangon. Beside all you can have sun downers looking at the lake. Very nice pool area

This tired old hotel was great for one night in Yangon. Close to the airport and just a short walk to the very decent L'Opera Italian restaurant. Very clean and spacious room. Friendly and accommodating staff. Beautiful grounds right on the lake.

We went there for the Sunday brunch. The room is large and can accommodate a lot of people. Sparkling wine is included and the buffet is quite amazing. We paid 30$ or so and if I remember well access to the swimming pool is included. We did not try the room.

Rooms are large but, as all hotels in Myanmar, certainly don't provide good value for money. Whilst the location is great, the rooms could certainly use some update. Breakfast is OK, but nothing special. Going downtown during rush hour will set you back the better part of an hour; traffic in Yangon has gone crazy. Staff were friendly on the...

The Inya Lake Hotel is a grand old building which was built back in the 1920s. While the building itself is a little bit tired and the decor somewhat dated, it was a welcome change from the sleek glitz of many modern characterless hotels and since everything worked well and was comfortable, this did not matter to us. Set in...

I live and work in Yangon. The Inya Lake hotel offers a lovely pool. I left the office today at 4.45 pm, really keen for a swim. At $15 a shout, a walk-in swim is affordable as a treat. When I arrived at the pool at 5 pm, I was told the charge had gone up to $25 for today...

The Inya Lake Hotel is a property with lovely staff at a superb location The Pool is popular with both local residents and hotel guests We have clear rates for non-residents, non-member guests for access to the pool and in this particular case the guest was clearly advised about the public holiday/weekend rate. The reason it is necessary to have...

Inya lake hotel is one of the original hotels in the Yangon area. It's located about halfway between the airport and the downtown area next to inya lake. It's a very lovely setting and very quiet. If you are seeking seclusion, this is the place for you. But there really isn't anything around there. Downtown attractions are a 30 to...

My wife and I stayed at this hotel en route to our cruise on the Irawady river from Bagan to Mandalay on the recommendation of a friend who lives in Yangon and whilst it was comfortable it is in the need for some major renovations as it was built by the Russian Government in the 1920's. Location is excellent right...

One of the oldest hotel in Yangon, it's facilities are old but well maintained. Staff are serving the guest very well. Clean room clean environment but a little noisy if your room is near the generator or the taxi parking lot. Nice restaurant and nice food but nothing too special to mention here. All taxis waiting here are more expensive...

The rooms are clean and tidy, you can say they are a bit old-fashioned but I prefer the way they are. They smell of the good old times. Being one of the first hotels in Yangon, the Inya Lake Hotel has served different guests and is kept in a good condition. Thanks to the management.
