We paid $72 for 2 nights in this guest house, which we felt was a little overpriced for what it was, although it was still in line with other similar places in the area. Location is excellent - right in the centre of downtown Yangon. There are several flights of steep steps so not great for anyone with mobility issues... More

Back to the 60s feel, cozy and homely feeling. The people there were very friendly & helpful who go all out to welcome you and help us, giving us free shower when we arrived very early, that why we decide to book our stay on our return trip back Yangon. It on the third floor no lift but a bell... More

We stayed in the dorm for USD12 per person. The dorm kinda reminds me of a sleeper train with bunk beds and curtains for privacy. The dorm itself was clean and orderly. So was the shared bathrooms and toilets. The location was great with easy access to public transport (local buses - K200 only!). The staff were warm and friendly.... More

I stayed in a dorm bed (three years ago I had a room here and it was fine) at this centrally located guesthouse. The location is withinin walking distance of many of Yangon's sights in an atmospheric street of small shops and teahouses. The dorm is huge with 20 + clean bunks. Each bed has good thick curtains, 2 power... More

The room was small but satisfactory...but definitely not sound proof. The staff are friendly and helpful. They offer a nice breakfast and this is a good opportunity to meet fellow travellers. There was virtually no water for showers and this was ongoing. It is a very basic guesthouse. I think in future I would look around. The many flights of... More

Thank you Nancy for your warm welcome to us three backpackers. Very accommodating, served us cold drinks upon arrival and even carried our bags! All staffs are helpful and look upon this family business for a decent stay throughout Yangon. Centralised to everything and a very busy street.

Friendly and helpful staff, they can even exchange your chats (they don't advertise it so I initially had to look for the only exchange place in Yangoon at 10pm- hard), clean dorm and bathroom, breakfast not the best but okay (banana toastie and egg)

A good place to meet many backpackers! I stayed in the dorm room here.. it was 28-bedded but very spacious and had good privacy with the curtain. No major complaints with the facilities, except no hot water in one of the shower cubicles on level 7 (pls turn on and test the water before you take off all your clothes... More
