I hate making suck bold statements but I am comfortable for this to be true. They simply do not care about you, I may as well have a number of my forehead. Asking for anything seems to be a chore for them. Unless you actually make a scene about something nothing gets done. They are unaware or unwilling to give...

Yes it´s not super clean but it´s more than acceptable. The place has some charm, and you can coose between dorm or a separate room. No hot shower though. Sleep quality is average but hey it´s a backpackers place. The staff is really friendly and you get a free decent breakfast. The location is perfect and it´s ideal if you...

Me and my friend got a nice double room for 40$, which is nice for Yangon I guess. Still, blood smears on the bed sheets on my friends side and a pretty intense smell of sweat on mine made it a mediocre experience. The location is pretty much in the centre of downtown though and the staff seems nice.So maybe...

I stayed in 2 nights in 4 beds dorm room for 10$ a night. Myanmar accomodation is expensive, but Yangon's one is the most. Okinawa guest house would be the perfect choice if you are only looking for cost-effective and cheap(and also clean). Plus, location is really good and air-conditioner is working well. I would give 4 stars when it...

Yes, Yangon is expensive, but 32$ a night for a room next to the reception where you get awoken at 5am is too expensive. The staff are friendly and the breakfast was great, but with so many other guest houses nearby you might check around. Clean room and bathroom eventhough it smelled a bit weird. The room has mosquitonet which...

A small cozy, back packer's friendly Okinawa Guest House is located right at the heart of the Yangon city, 5 minutes walk to Sule Pagoda, 15 minutes walk to Bogyoke market, and surrounded by plenty of restaurants. Room rates starting from 12$ for hostel type room beds, 18$ for single room, 35$ for double room with bathroom attached. Rooms are...

We took this guest house for our last night in Yangoon. We got the room close to the kitchen for 25$ with AC and shared bathroom (upstair and NO HOT WATER) and included breakfast. The guesthouse is close to the Sule Pagoda and many mosquees. The guesthouse is almost fully built in wood like in Japan ;) Since we woke...

The good fact about is: dorms! if you are a solo traveller in Myanmar, I must recommend it. The top floor room has about 8 maitress, 10U$ each. However t is extremely hot up there and the A/C does not seems to be enough. The wifi does not work anywhere but the reception area. The location is great, close to...

This Guesthouse is very cheap, specially if you choose a common room. It is very Japanese-style. The staff is not very helpful as they don't speak good English and "Free Wifi" simply does not exist at all. It is ok for staying a 1 or 2 days.

“the best room there is the triple room upstairs with bathroom attached 40$ I think, downstairs rooms are also OK but a bit noisy in day time, if you like quiet then choose the last room down the hall on the first floor but it doesn't have bathroom attached. that room is 18$ I think.”
