Booked a standard single but upgraded to a deluxe double as the standard single can best be described as a fox hole containing a single bed pressed against the wall, a small fridge, a small table, no place to hang your clothes and a bathroom/toilet. The upgraded room cost me US$225 for 5 nights with breakfast. It had 2 beds,...

We have traveled all through southeast Asia and multiple cities in Myanmar. This was by far the worst hotel we stayed in. THe staff was nice for the most part, but the front desk required to "hold" our passports during our stay. I did not feel comfortable with that at all. There were rats in the ceiling that could be...

I truly sorry to hear about your disappointing experience in the queen’s park. I know that we had some “difficulties” in the past, but with a new management in place as good as all troubles have been taken care of, which includes the passports behind the desk for example. I hope that the next time you are in Yangon you...

Best services and facilities. The hotel Queen's Park is very quiet place in downtown area and their staffs were friendly to hotel guests. I think, they have qualified services and hospitalities in their operation. The hotel was freshness renovation guest rooms and public area, they also have car parking area infront of the hotel, KK POT (Hot Pot) at ground...

Considering this was Yangon, I was actually pleasantly surprised by this place. It had a working mini-fridge and air-con (though on at certain times) and the wifi, though spotty, did work most of the time, though I wouldn't try streaming Netflix on it. Most hotels in Yangon are overprices compared to what you get when you compare the same level...

Thank you. Yes some of our rooms are not quite big, but recently a number of them have been refurbished. The friendliness of the staff is something we are very proud of. The location is indeed downtown Yangon, not in the business district but in the middle of a lively and entertaining area. The WIFI; the new management team of...

I was looking forward to visit Myanmar for the very first time in December 2015 as I have heard and seen so many pictures of its beautiful landscape. I booked to stay at this hotel for 2 nights. On the day of departure to Myanmar, at the airport check-in, the airport staff told me I will need a visa to...

I am sorry to hear about the bad experience you had during your visit to Myanmar and the inflexibility by our staff members. I am pleased to say that the former “strict” system has been changed into a more flexible one when the new management team took over. Hope to see you on your next trip (with visa :)) to...

Decent place to stay at near Yangon's downtown district. Once the lift is back in service I will come back. Although walking up 10 flights of stairs at least twice a day is a pretty good exercise. I've stayed at the Queen's Park before a few years ago. This time I even extended my stay, Clean room, very friendly and...

Pretty nice place for the price. There was construction on the lift while we were staying there so we got 35% off. Rooms are nice and spacious with a small sitting area. Shower has decent water pressure. Friendly staff. Did charge US$60 for a rollaway bed for my daughter for 4 nights which was not mentioned earlier. Complimentary breakfast is...

My choice for the last one and a half year. The rates are very pocket friendly with newly renovated spacious rooms. The service is fast and friendly. I have tried various floors and also the presidential suit. The hotel is a minute walk to 24 hr stores including lucky seven tea shop and a big branch of ocean super markets.

it was spacious and well furnished with a large comfortable king sized bed, clean bed and bath linen and carpeted floor.Internet connectivity is annoyingly slow.Ask for a back facing room which is much quieter - there is lots of traffic on the front road.

I am happy t say that all renovations are finished and the WIFI upgraded. The internet speed in Myanmar is indeed not great but after an upgrade by the new management it is more than sufficient to download email, and search google. Hope to see you back in Yangon one day and the Queen’s Park of course. Frank
