We stayed in this hotel for one night. It was perfect for the price we paid. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. It was a basic room. The shower was a bit tricky for us so we called down to the desk and they sent someone immediately to show us how to turn it on. He made...

We booked this hotel as it could be pre booked online unlike many hotels in myanmar. Really centrally located as across the road from Traders hotel and round the corner from bogyoke aung San market, clean, quiet, loads of hot water, great breakfast and really helpful staff. There was a limitless supply of bottled water which was really handy when...

This was a great choice for our first might in Myanmar. The staff are friendly, have pretty good english and the rooms are simply decorated and clean. I would agree with other reviewers that the toilet/ shower arrangements are decidedly odd, but if you're a couple it's ok. The location couldn't be better, especially if you are planning to travel...

The location of the hotel is the key. It is right at the center of town within walking distance of many touristic places. The staff goes the extra mile to make the customer happy - the door and lift boys, the reception, the restaurant team. We stayed for two nights and changed rooms, as we wanted to stay at a...

My friend and I had a great experience staying at the East Hotel. Here are a list of pros: - Right in the center of the city, across the street from Traders Hotel - Walking distance to Sule Pagoda - Walking distance to 19th street China Town - Plenty of food places all around! - Free bottled water (as much...

Very basic hotel, or a cheaper alternative for the Traders on the other side of the road. Conveniently located. Close to Bogyoke Market. Wifi could be weak depending on a room. Hot water may not last forever. Also you should not expect it from the faucet. Only cold water. But rooms and the lobby are clean. Workers are helpful and...

We were being assigned to the room in the next block facing the main street. There is no lift in this block so gotta walked up a flight of stairs but luckily our room was on the 2nd floor. The room is clean and bed and pillows are comfy. The rain shower was strong but bathroom is a tad small....

The staff save this hotel..like most hotels in Yangon.it was overpriced. We will not stay there again. Rooms are tiny..but clean..the toilet arrangement ..odd..a door would make such a difference..so would a mirror in the room...and a shower that worked. Can I say something nice..yes...the hard working, underpaid and friendly staff...they tried so hard. The manageress was very nice..the desk...

Pros: - location, location, location (my preference in Yangon is downtown, so location is very good) - room decor - roof terrace overlooking Sule pagoda and southern downtown area "Neutrals": - breakfast - reception staff (attitude appears to be quite business-related, less individual-oriented) Cons: - rooms are pretty small - hot water did not work during my stay - a...

It is a basic hotel in a good location. Our room had a window and was quite spacious. The shower was a strange "phone box" with wooden floor... We decided not to try it... Toilette was without door. The room smelled pretty bad. There free bottled-water in every floor. Location is great, you can walk to scott's market and there...
