We stayed here in June 2021 and decided to come back again in November. The hotel isn’t what it used to be. Don’t expect any greetings or welcoming words at the reception. Grumpy faces and dry expressions. Also they don’t bother talking to their foreign customers. They simply used my local fiend as if she was my translator. We checked in pretty late and asked them to change the towels because they were old and brownish. They said they will send new ones. Of course they brought us exactly the same. If there’s something that I can’t stand at hotels it’s dirty towels that hundreds of customers used before you and wiped god knows what with. This hotel isn’t cheap but nobody cares about such simple hygiene measures. You are treated like a lackey, as if you were begging them to let you stay for free. This is disgusting and unacceptable. When we were checking out, the reception lady followed me outside as if I were a thief to tell me that they were still checking the room. I was just taking my luggage (by myself!) outside because my friend was looking for a taxi. I came back and we paid for the coffee that I have ordered and she found it courteous to tell my friend in Burmese that they didn’t have the change. I was supposed to accept this easily and just go with a smile after such a disrespectful and dry treatment. It was only 200 kyats but it was totally unprofessional from her side to think that I should accept this. I bet that if it was me who didn’t have the 200 kyats they would’ve treated me like a beggar. The manager (or owner) is even worse and doesn’t care about customers who look young or simple. He is constantly around and not a single word to unsatisfied customers. Of course, no greetings or warm words either! I would absolutely not stay here again!…
It was the best hotel in Yangon where I stayed. We arrived on 29 at 11am, the room was ready and they gave us the room. Our stay there was shorter than we expect, was not the best period to travel, so next day we had to move, we finally found a flight to go back to our country. Even if I paid for a day more, the staff refound us the amount. The rooms are really better thank the pics on Booking. Big rooms (not so usual to find in Yangon), clean and elegantly furnished. On the rooftop we found the wonderful pool, the perfect place to relax ourselves, and forget a little that we had non flight to go back home. There is also the restaurant, where during the morning you can take ur breakfast, lot of choise between salty and sweet. Here u can take also the lunch or the dinner, good prices and nice food. We want to thank the staff for all course our stay here was great, if we will come back to Yangon we definitely come back to your hotel.…
Stayed in one of the serviced apartments of Prestige Residences during 5 month. The apartments are very comfortable equipped with everything you need. The staff is extremely kind and always ready to serve you. Since Prestige Residences is also a hotel it provides breakfast and has a rooftop restaurant. Also on the rooftop you can find the pool and a beautiful view in the famous Shwedagon pagode. The value for money is excellent. The neighborhood is quiet and green and on walking distance you find a small shopping centre and some nice restaurants.
I stayed at Prestige Apartments/Hotel for 4 months and it is absolutely excellent. The rooms are good quality and well serviced. Breakfast is also good with plenty of variety and the hotel is well positioned for sight seeing etc. The pool is superb and the gym is the right size for the hotel. What really makes it special are the friendly staff and the top class service as any minor issue is deal with immediately and followed up by their management team. I would highly recommend staying at this place whether on holidays or conducting business in the area.
This hotel is located approximately 30 minutes from the airport (off peak). There are several embassies nearby. There are 53 rooms on 5 levels and the hotel is approximately 8 months old. On the 6th floor there is the rooftop swimming pool (sunny all day), a restaurant and a gym. My room was spacious and very well appointed (as good as a five star hotel). The bathroom was spotless and had a huge walk in shower as well as shower over the bathtub. My tip is to avoid a room on the first floor as this is where reception is located and it was quite noisy with people coming and going. The breakfast was excellent considering this is a small hotel. There is a great view of Shwedagon Pagoda from the 6th floor. I would definitely recommend this hotel which was great value.
My girlfriend and I went to Myanmar in March and we really enjoyed the stay at the hotel. It really has a nice view at the rooftop where we could see Shwedagon Pagoda. The staffs there were really friendly and approachable. We even asked for utensils and water late at night, and they were able to fulfill our request efficiently. Moreover, the area is really quiet at night and has many cafe around this hotel which I find very convenient.
Although I haven't stayed at this hotel, I would thoroughly recommend it in terms of service. I organised an amenity for a friend who just got engaged and the hotel staff delivered it seamlessly - my friend was genuinely surprised. I expected only wine and a slice of cake to be sent to the room but when pictures came from my friend, the hotel had delivered AN ENTIRE CAKE!!! Simply goes to show how much the hotel understands "going above and beyond" to deliver 5-star guest service. As mentioned, I have not stayed at this hotel but now I know where to go when I visit Myanmar ;) Thank you to the team who helped arrange this!
Stayed there for a few days during my 2 weeks holiday in Myanmar, brand new hotel with big rooftop swimming pool and good variety of breakfast. Staff are helpful especially the security guy at the hotel particularly very helpful. Very close to the famous My Hill cafe. Overall it’s a great hotel with amazing staff, I will come back again for sure. Thank you!!!
This hidden gem is a near New hotel nestled among mansions and embassies. At current rates city wide, this hotel and extended stay is arguably the best value in Yangon for the following features amenities: The rooms are spacious with a large 5 star bath, which features a smoker tub with a massive window to the bedroom, large shower with rain shower and wand shower heads, and ample sink area, and places to hang towels and self laundered smalls. The bed is King size and super comfortable. TV features news, movies, sports, and music, all in English. Housekeeping does a fantastic job keeping the rooms clean and linens and towels fresh. The best feature is that walks are Superbowl soundproof. You may only hear doors closing in the hallway. The complimentary breakfast is fantastic with friendly staff and food for all tastes. Therme is fresh fruit, many staple Western options, including enough bacon on hand to feed 2 football teams. There is Asian food which changes daily featuring anything from local curry, to 2 soup choices with a host of toppings, fried rice, noodles and baked goods. Next to the roof top dining room you will find a small yet we'll equipped gym the size of a large master bedroom. The roof top deck features panoramic views of mansions trees, gorgeous Shwedagon Pagodaga and the sound of local birds, of which there are many. Staff is young, friendly, and speak English very well. Service is prompt and sincere. You can expect to get to most destinations in the city for 5000 kyat or less. Taxi to the hotel is 8000. We loved our 2 week stay here. …
The hotel is still so new and the staff are still finding their way and get a few things wrong, but they were friendly and they cared, and those were the bits that mattered - the rest will come with experience. The rooms were pristine - they are brand new so are perfectly clean - they even still have the smell of their brand new furnishings and are stylish and modern - especially with the balcony with its floor to ceiling glass. Breakfast was beautiful, with different freshly prepared Asian cuisine each day, as well as lots of breads, eggs, bacon, cereal, fruit etc. Really enjoyed breakfast and used room service once and had an evening meal there too. All were really good. Highly recommend as a good, safe, clean and friendly place to explore Yangon from...
