Booked this hotel because we missed our bus and had to stay another night. Saw its good rating and reviews on booking.com and decided to book it. Called to confirm that they accept Visa cards. They asked us not to book on booking.com because they would have to pay a commission. I was going to book a double room and told them about it. I arrive and get a twin beds put together. All they could say is that they had 0 double rooms and only the family rooms had double beds. OK! Next, the breakfast was poor and as a sign of recognition for not booking the room on booking.com, they sell me an Alpine water bottle for 1600 kyats which is simply amazing!! It costs 300-400 kyats and most of the hotels sell it for 500. The minibar prices were clear and it was 1000 kyats. I suppose the 1600 kyats was a special price for us foreigners, milk cows. They seem to ignore the fact that we live here and pay taxes just like everybody else. Disappointing, really...

We stayed there for 2 nights to rewind ourself after a very busy visit in Myanmar before return back home. Front desk staff give a good first impression to me, they are helpful, polite and sweet, while room is comfort, spacious and clean with all new amenities. Food in restaurant is just ordinary but the staff there is good and polite. Just avoid the dinning time for tourist group or you have to wait long. Location is ok if you get a taxi, not recomended to walk around.

We loved our 3 night stay here! The room was clean and well equipped, the staff super helpful and friendly. There’s a variety of great street food stalls in the vicinity and with the hotel’s restaurant brimming full with large (Chinese) travel groups, we’d recommend having your meals elsewhere, but that’s not the hotel’s fault. Thinking about returning for another couple of nights at the end of our Myanmar trip 🙂

We stayed here during our myanmar visit in Dec 2019.The hotel is although small but good clean and located in a peacefull area.the hotel staff is courteous ,always ready to help you and always smiling. We had earlier stayed in other big hotels like esperado lake view but this hotel was better than them. The only issue we had was vegetarian breakfast. We did not get vegetarian breakfast although we had reminded them a day before to keep vegetarian options. The menu was very limited. They were not concerned about the guests choice,.we had stayed in other hotels in mandelay who took great care of our likings and kepy vegetarian options only for us

Hotel for bus tours. Very noisy. Breakfast area is a war zone if you meet those tour groups. You will feel like in the local market. Rate is cheap. So you get what you pay for. Staff was not as friendly as other reviewers said. You can get better experience by trying other descent hotels. Don’t recommend

hi.. Sorry to hear that you have rather unpleasant experience for your stay. Please let us apologize on behalf of the Tour groups. Honestly, its out of hotel control. We requested them few times not to be noisy but there are only so many times we can ask them till we get a fuss over it. Regarding our friendly services, we did allow you for early check in of around 12 noon (our check in time is 2pm), also we did allow you for FREE late check out of 2pm sir. We simply can not allow you to stay later than 2pm cause that room is reserved for another person. Our staffs specifically did ask you why you are upset right before your check out. She asked if she upset you in some way and if she can make it up to you, and you said no its not her but you are upset with our county,Myanmar in general. Again, sorry about our Third world country standard sir. Being a Chinese/Asian descendant yourself, hope you can understand our situation. Thank you.
