This hotel is dirty, rooms are unacceptable ( I've backpacked a lot around the world and I've never seen this) and breakfast was not good at all don't believe who says the opposite! We had the roof top room for 27$ and we could't sleep because there were either rats or squirrels walking on the metal walls of our room!...

Not too sure what people expect but thus place does the job if ur looking for a cheap guest house for a few nights. Dorms are cheap enough (for Burma) and the breakfast is big and ace! Location is good here and they give away this "infinitive Buddha power" tablets - not sure if they work but I'm currently taking...

We spent 2 nights in this hotel in December. We had one double room which had actually 2 beds joined together and also 2 more twin beds which took quite much space in the room. Design special with all these stones on the walls and floors! 85 steps to reach our room, and a little more for breakfast. Room and...

I stayed at White House Hotel for five days over Christmas 2012. I'd been meeting people elsewhere in Myanmar who had recommended it. I arrived at 5am and got a room, no. 303, 30 dollars a night, one person in a windowless double room with attached bathroom. Good aircon and hot shower. There were over 100 steps to the top...

We found the prices terribly high at 22 USD for a no-go double room (with mold, stinky, no window) and ended up at a 12 USD per person dorm bed ( 8 per room) which was amongst the worst - the shared bathroom which was quite dirty. The owner is pretty choleric, don't tell him what you think of his...

Very let down by this place. We booked a week ahead (December 2012- double room $30) but on arrival were told our room had gone. It was 8pm but we were told we turned up late. They then offered us a room for $35 even though THEY messed up. We looked at the room which was up some serious stairs...

This is a good place go stay for your first few days in Myanmar The rooms are adequate and the staff are very friendly and efficient. Making it easy to find your away around, book buses etc. The breakfast is exceptional. Generally we are finding it difficult to book hotels. It is a mixture of too few hotels and an...

This was our first port in Burma and we return to stay a couple more times (mainly for the convenience). Personally, I really appreciate the cleanliness of the bathroom and the breakfast was absolutely fantastic! The letdown, unfortunately, are the rooms which at $24 for a twin, which is really a single since the 2 beds took up 90% of...

Appalled by the email exchange I have had with this hotel, I feel the obligation to warn my fellow travelers. Trying to make a booking, I received an email stating "Now we have many Reservation. Sometimes, the room that you have booked is not free." ...???...So I wrote back, asking if I confirm that I would be coming a day...
