I stayed in this hotel for 5 nights. It's very clean and spacious room that came with a simple but tasty breakfast. Staff were very polite and helpful. The location is great - there's a fantastic Chinese restaurant where we ate every night , a money changer opposite the hotel, the supermarket is nearby and if you need your caffine...

Such a great hotel find in downtown Yangon! Very clean, quiet comfortable standard room with satellite tv, quiet & well functioning air-con, mini-fridge incl. complimentary bottled water, efficient bathroom with hot & cold water. Slept well on comfortable mattress, although pillows were hard. Front desk and housekeeping staff all first-class, professional & extremely helpful with guest requests. It is an...

Standard room for $45/night includes breakfast and erratic wifi. The staff are helpful and friendly. The room was reasonably clean. The bathroom shower only leaked a little bit onto the floor. The beds were reasonably comfortable. Really it was a satisfactory place to stay in a good location to walk to various sights. The only downside was the lack of...

When I was planning this trip I was looking for a centrally located hotel in Yangon, but now I'm not so sure what you would actually call central Yangon, as I was surprised on how much bigger this city is than what I expected. The Eastern Hotel is located in area that is really not serviced by many restaurants /...

Arriving in the room, I thought we'd been transported back to the eastern bloc in the 1960's. Decor was all muted and dark, with semi gloss paint on the wall, shabby bedroom furniture, hard bed and pillows and small bathroom. WiFi was non existent in the room and only intermittently available in the lobby. But the aircon in the room...

Nice little hotel in a quieter part of town. Comfortable and clean with very friendly and helpful staff. Walkable distance (for me) to Bogyoke market and Strand road; plentiful taxis around. Stayed on the 6th floor away from the street noise, but I suspect the staff quarters is on the 7th floor so it got a bit noisy early morning,...

The area is quite nice with shops, groceries, restaurants, cafés. Take a walk on the streets behind. It takes 20 minutes interesting walk to the center of Town. You can change Money...

Booked this place months ago with Agoda, so as to have an address to put on my E-Visa application. While booking I made an inquire about an airport pick up but did not receive any details or confirmation. When I made my own way to the hotel I was then told that a driver was waiting for me at the...
