Stayed there for only two days in November 2013, not by choice but by necessity after delivering a boat from Australia. It hot water for showering and AC so I could get some sleep at night. Bar good and friendly.

Hi there I am a seasoned traveller who has been to 136 countries and flown over 750 times. I have stayed in hundreds of hotels and I must say the service and quality of this hotel was one of the worst in comparison to what it shows on the homepage of hotels.com or where everywhere you want to book it....

Not that bad, but not great either. The rooms are big, ask for a sea facing second floor room, but tend to smell of smoke (even the nonsmoking ones). The food is okay in the restaurant, but no vegetarian so better to go to the nearby Korean place. Situated in between the main town and the airport. Cleaning service seems...

I don't expect a lot when staying in the solomons, but the Pacific Casino Hotel was average at best. Firstly it's based quite a few kilometers out from Honiara. The room I had was basically a breeze block room, dimly lit (which was probably for the best!), full of mold and deperately in need of renovating. My room was also...

An enormous property that was probably something special back in the day. The pool area is in need of investment, the bars in the place are under stocked and stuffy, and in general this place is at the bottom end of the options for a place to rest whilst in Honiara. The burgers attaché restaurant are nice, but it seems...

Staying here this week for work in Honiara, this hotel has certainly seen better days. Staff definately need the boot up the backside for attention to customer service, no one seems to care or want to even help. Captians Bar is a disgrace no cooling that works properly, lack of choice of drinks, and a definate lack of service, staff...

If you'd like to be located mid way between the city centre and the airports, Pacific Casino Hotel is an excellent choice. Good idea to re-confirm price of hotel room, before arrival. If you are charging meals and drinks to your room, keep all receipts (you may need to double check bill). Rooms vary in quality (from very nice to...

Everything worked - hot water shower worked 4 out of 5days in a country where 80% of homes do not have access to clean water - everything was old and worn-down. Still, the staff are friendly. Internet is expensive (25 Euro for 250 MB over 7 days) but it was pretty fast. Take bus to center (0.30 euro, 3 Sol...
