OK, this was what we wanted....cheap on Palau. However, the pay-internet scheme is baloney.....that alone would have had us not use this hotel. The room is minimal....the bed was almost too hard to sleep on......but there is a balcony.....above the prison-style rolls of barbed wire.....the air conditioning was functional but with huge ice spot directly on the bed......staff were very...

The location and proximity to the downtown area where one can choose from a variety of restaurants, shopping malls and mini marts is perfect. One can just walk 5-10 minutes and you are there. The hotel itself has seen better days and is at most a 3 star hotel. The staff are all Filipino so service was friendly, efficient and...

This is a simple, centrally located hotel which was perfect for us. As we left every day at 8 am and returned at 5 pm, we wanted a small hotel that was close to town (and where we could walk to the dive shop every day). Comfortable beds, a/c, frig and tea pot in the room worked quite well for...

This hotel is located at one end of the Motor downtown area, so you can go to many restaurants and shops by walking. There is also a mini-mart on the first floor of the hotel so you can get food, snacks, and drinks easily. There is no elevator, so be prepared to carry your luggage up the stairs. The room...

I was denied boarding on an onward flight and found myself isolated at the Airport. Koror is a laid-back town and finding a room at three in the morning can be difficult. The first few hotels were closed and non-responsive and it took a bit of an effort to have the access door to the West Plaza Desekel unlocked by...

The staff was VERY accommodating here, helpful in so many ways from getting us a car to additional room items to arranging a 2:00AM shuttle. It is located upstairs and is a bit odd to find it adjacent to a massage studio, but otherwise the location downtown is convenient to restaurants, bank, shopping, etc. It is expensive, too. Maybe all...

This is a simple hotel in Palau and the description provided by the website is fair. I stayed there for one night, on my way to a liveaboard trip. Location is ok, as there are cafes, little markets and restaurants nearby. Good for a short stay.

It is scary looking. You have to go up a flight of stairs to reach the check-in. There are no elevators. They charged us for warm bottled water and the fridge didn't work. The AC was so loud we couldn't sleep. Internet is expensive. They failed to mention that you can get Palau wi-fi for $20 for 10 hours and...

I had very low expectations going into my four night stay at West Plaza Desekel while I was diving nearby, but I was pleasantly surprised. The rooms are basic- what you would expect from a two or three star hotel - but they are very clean and the bed was comfortable. The staff is also very helpful and familiar with...

I booked this hotel as a solo traveler who was in Palau to dive so I only need to please myself. If you want a quiet, clean room with a hot shower after diving at the days end close to Koror this is ideal. The staff were really friendly and having a supermarket downstairs was a bonus, give the staff...
