Of course, almost any beach location in Palau is exquisite. The Palau Royal Resort is situated on a private beach. Unlike most resorts, this charges extra for almost everything. This is especially noticeable when it comes to water. The water in the rooms is not potable. The views from our room were stunning, perhaps because we were on the top...

I have traveled and dove at a lot of destinations around the world and this hotel makes Palau feel like your right at home. this place was beautiful but overpriced since they charged for everything including additional water when you could not drink the water except for bottles. The room was very nice and keep very clean. Hotel has a...

I stayed with kids and wife to stay away from noise, busy city life of Tokyo. Swim with dolfin was good, Island tour was fun, too. I would like to come back again. The hotel is surrounded by a quiet sea, and is good to have a private beach in the hotel property.

We chose the Palau Royal Resort as it was one of the only medium / upper end resort hotels on the island. It was quite expensive for what you get (but to be fair there's not much choices on the island and we've had much worse for the same price elsewhere). The biggest gripe were the rooms which were old...

We really enjoyed this hotel and their private beach is a bonus. It's perfect for families, as kids can safely play and swim. They also have a pool, we just preferred the beach. The spa was lovely. Rooms were spacious and clean. Our only complaint was internet access. There is no access in the rooms and when you are in...

we didn't really have much of a choice with this hotel - hordes or tour groups now coming into palau means accommodation is scarce and rooms are very hard to come by. So we ended up here as it was pretty much the only place in the medium/high end hotel category with rooms available. so why didnt we like it?...

We stayed at Palau Royal Resort for a week last month. It was our second time to Palau. During our last visit we stayed at Caroline's and Sea Passion. I wanted to stay at Palau Pacific Resort given it's the nicest resort on the island but I couldn't justify spending over $400/night for a room. I am very happy we...

I basically used the hotel as a day room after a dive trip on a liveaboard. My flight left at 1:45am. This was a really beautiful hotel. The rooms were large and luxuriously furnished. Unfortunately, it was rainy most of the day so my plan to hit the pool didn't happen but I started the long journey home refreshed and...

Very kid friendly, love the kids room! They have high chairs and kids playthings at the beach. No changing table though. I thought the staff was very attentive. The buffet is awful but the bakery is divine. Internets is terrible.
