I stayed in a room for 60 AUD per night and had my own room but shared toilets. There was only 1 other guest when I was staying and they have 4 rooms upstairs to be shared. This was the old wing. They recently refurbished the place with a new wing. The old wing has a lounge, kitchen area, shower...

Tarawa is a difficult place to stay long term. The Fema Lodge team were super helpful. We stayed one night as we awaited another flight. There are not many things of comfort here at this hotel. It's not built to holiday in but it is perfect for a quick stay or while working and you're out in the day.

all the staff were very friendly. even helped me with my washing. I normally eat outside of the hotel in an evening but the food was good in the lodge so I ate there for every meal. added bonus, out of the hotel and 50 ms to the left is a bar where you can watch some great sunsets !!.

Tarawa is a tough Island to start any kind of business in due to limitations in access to goods and services and little internal production of pretty much anything. Fema rooms are large, spacious, clean, the bathroom ok and the bed soft. The air conditioning is excellent and badly needed. The food is both decent, certainly the blackened tuna, and...

I stayed at Fema Lodge for almost three months in an upstairs room (with shared kitchen and bathroom). The staff are all extremely friendly and accommodating and made me feel like part of the family. You get a free simple breakfast everyday (coffee/tea and cereal). The restaurant is also open for lunch and dinner with all the classics plus some...

With all the challenges faced in Kiribati such as lack of water, I felt this was a reasonable accommodation. Upon Arrival at the airport, I enjoyed a free Mini Van transfer to the Fema Lodge. I found the room to be nice and clean although decent. I took up the single room with common kitchen and shower facilities. Although sharing,...

We had spent a few weeks on one of the outer islands and so return to South Tarawa with a comfortable bed, cold, water, and a hot shower was a very welcome prospect. We stayed in a large room in the old wing. The room was clean as was the linen and was of a standard you might expect from...

This was my first stay at Fema Lodge! The rooms were quite large (New Wing) bathroom is big, mattress is very soft (Each to their own but I like a firmer mattress) Room was clean fairly Spartan, and, like most hotels now, lacks lighting it was quite difficult to do work on the laptop in the restricted lighting but this...
