Well I'm gonna bake in my room. Hilton fan for a long but this is the 2nd time where the heat in air conditioning you cannot control. I'm sitting here in a hot Room sweating. The temperature is preset and you have no control over it other than turn it on or off I've turned it off fortunately I've got a couple small windows in the Room so I've open them. I'm really disappointed to have to write this review because the front desk staff are so amazing they have done a marvelous job and I love the chocolate chip cookies I like the location the rooms are great but this is also the 1st time I've seen a hotel charge you for a tooth brush or shaving kit I guess Hilton's in trouble they are nickel and diming now. The and must be close for the Hilton
This is a great location. Bogota has a traffic issue, it is good if you are going to have meetings no more than 20 min from this location. The staff of this hotel make it a great experience and the food is great.
I stay in a lot of hotels, sometimes 100 times plus over the year. And I never leave reviews, so believe me when I say this is the first. The people were awesome, clean place, and best customer service I have ever experienced.
Very well organized, friendly staff and a good safe location to walk/run around. I will stay there again for sure; the Hotel is connected to the Cosmos Hotel and they share the Bar which have live music and a Rumba starting on Thursdays.
We are just finishing 13 nights at this hotel. The room was spacious, the bed was comfortable. The indoor pool is very pleasant, however limited the seating. A small gym is also in that space. Seats were being reserved by placing towels on some of the four loungers and three chairs, which I feel is unfair. You need a swim cap to enter the pool, sold there. The highlight of our stay was the extraordinary customer service we received. We found an on-line pharmacy where I could obtain my transplant medication in Bogota. The following staff spoke repeatedly to the pharmacy on our behalf and ensured we got our order in a timely manner. First, Stephanie Baars spent quite a bit of time and follow-up to get the order correct. Laura Galvis provided smaller services with a huge smile and caring. Finally Tomas Salazar supervised everything we got accomplished, even walking us to the delivery pick-up from the pharmacy to ensure there were no hiccups in the transactions. Out flight leaves tomorrow evening and Tomas is allowing us a generous late check-out, which we totally appreciate. The restaurant, Guadelupe, was excellent. We did not take the breakfast option, however we ate dinner there five times. We probably would not have eaten here this often but we had Christmas and New Years during the stay. We only stayed in this hotel because our Travel agency booked hotel(Cosmos 100, right next door) is undergoing renovations until early January 2020. However, the Double Tree is a very nice hotel;wonderful, corteous and amicable staff both at the reception desk as well as in the restaurant..bed mattresses could be a bit softer 'tho..but overall, we were very pleased during our stay here..
I think this is the hotel which refers to itself as being on Calle 100. This hotel is very pleasant and well organised. Lovely reception staff. Rooms are generous and offer a sofa and hot drinks making facilities. Huge showers. Very comfortable. Quite a distance from the airport though, especially in traffic
Paid for room in advance but hotel insisted on payment during check out. Now I get to waste my time contacting the credit card company. The walls are thin and the door slam shut, so do not expect to sleep well under these conditions.
Great service provided by the staff and accommodations were pleasant. Room was cold at first but when I presented this to the hotel staff they acted quickly to remind me about the thermostat and in room heating, something I had forgotten about.
Hi! Greetings! Would like to give my review to this excellent hotel although our travel date was in Feb. We stayed from Feb 4 -17, 2019. We are family Dijkhoff from Aruba. Norman, Mercedes & our son Brighton, stayed at this hotel in room 345 and we were amazed by the excellent service the Management & Staff provided us. Mentioning now our gratitude to the Restaurant Mngr. Eduardo, the beautiful server Sophia, Oscar, who provides service from the heart. Also to the Kitchen staff for their excellent service to us. To the room service staff: Nelson, Fabio, Rocio, Andrea, Alba y Gloria. Front desk staff too. And all the others whom we haven’t mentioned, but were always there with a “Yes I can” attitude.
