Santa Barbara Boutique Hotel. Some people might like this hotel but I don't. Why do I not like this hotel? And it is for the following reasons. I usually stay at 4 and 5 star hotels and I know what it means to have a 4/5 star rating. Santa Barbara Boutique Hotel is a small hotel close to the Unicentro Shopping Mall in Bogota. This hotel is under no circumtances a "Boutique" hotel it is just a small hotel without any special personality or attention at all. It is more a "Hostel" than a boutique hotel. The rooms are OK but not fancy. There is no airconditioning, so beware of the rooms without natural ventilation because they can become very hot during the day and night making them very unconfortable and desasperating. There is no room service at all. Neither is bell service. It is a basic hotel to get in and get out. The hotel offers breakfast included, but beware, we got food poisoned and had to pay for extra towels. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone looking for good service. If you are used to stay at lower rated hotels or hostels go ahead stay at the Santa Barbara "Boutique" hotel. I can write a lot more about my negative experience at this hotel but I rather keep it at the facts. If you like "cheap" hotels or hostels stay at the Santa Barbara Boutique Hotel. But If you want more service, higher quality of rooms and overall well being, avoid this Hotel.…
Excellent value for money. Great bed which easily is for two and simple breakfast with sufficient choice to start a day of exploring. The shower and toilet is clean and with sufficient space despite small area. When visiting Bogotá for a short stopover this is an excellent choice.
If you are on a business trip, this option maybe fits on what you are looking for a good price. The hotel is a pretty new building, very good service, good breakfast (not fantastic) but for me it was a really good option considering it is in front of one of the more recognized shopping of Bogota (UNICENTRO) and in the area there are other hotels like SONESTA or ESTELAR FONTANA which are more expensive and both are not more than 100 meters. There is a good casino at one block called MILLONAIRES, very fancy and kind of a boutique style casino. Really a good option in the area.
Stayed in this hotel because my last hotel was not what I hoped it would be. Staff is friendly and the service is on point! I loved it during my stay, they made me feel at home. Nearby restaurants and the Unicentro Mall across the street. Safe area to be.
I stayed one night here because Sonesta was full and they transferred me here. It's a small hotel, room was okay but the bathroom was really small. There was a small restaurant next to the check-in counter, I think. It's a pretty basic hotel.
I stayed at Santa Barbara Boutique last september 2016 and I'm very happy I picked this hotel. The service is excellent!. the room are big and very clean, and whatever you need is right there in a instant. All staff are more than what you can ask for. The breakfast is very good, and the ladies who serve it are very nice, sweet and always ready to serve you. The hotel is located in a very good and safe area close to a mall, supermarket, restaurants, transportation and places to good eating. All that is beside the good price it offers to their customers. However, There is only one thing they need to add, which I think is a must; it is a computer for customer use. I really would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.
I've stayed here three times and I love it. It's in a nice location. It's clean with big rooms. And, the hotel staff is very nice. Also, the breakfast ladies are very sweet and always willing to get you whatever you may need
Everything is just perfect!! Safe location near a big shopping mall. Very helpful and friendly staff. Delicious breakfast cooked in front of you. Excellent facilities and superb decoration. Definitely the best hotel I stayed at in Colombia.
Excellent service, great price/quality ratio. Deluscious breakfast included. Safe neighbourhood. Nearby mall. Beautiful esthetics! Modern room. Reliable Transport can be arranged through hotel. Would definitely recommend it to anyone.
We stayed for 6 days at this small modern hotel located in front of the main entrance to the Unicentro Mall. Even though there is a main street on that block the hotel is located off a walk way so you don't hear traffic noises. Breakfast was always good, eggs any style, juices, great coffe from the expresso machine which is complimentary throughout the day. Assorted breads, cereal, yogurt fresh fruit, and some special treat like tamales, chorizos, and chicken soup. Staff will really go out of their way to see that your needs are taken care of. Sr. Jimenez took time to help us set up an appointment with the Dian. Local calls are free which is helpful. Very clean hotel, beds very comfortable, the only observation I would make is that you could say that the bathroom lacks in privacy, this design is modern and it is open to the entryway of the room, toilet and shower have glass etched panels for privacy, it could be an issue only if you share the room with someone other than your spouse. Location is really good. Easy to get around, did not see trancones or "trafic jams" around this hotel. Would definitely recommend.…
