We visited in 2015 and again last month (Sept. of 2021) and it's even better than it was. Beatriz was - once again - an amazing host. There are a lot more beautiful plants around the property and also some very friendly cats and a dog. Breakfast was excellent. The wifi was good before but this time it seemed better. We felt very safe in terms of covid protocols. And the neighborhood is still relatively quiet with a park right across the street and some very nice restaurants nearby. It's a great place to stay in Bogota.

great bed and breakfast. we spent there 4 nights. Quiet neighborhood. Building is charming with fully renovated interiors. Rooms are clean, updated and are very comfortable. bathrooms were recently renovated with a good pressure of excellent hot water. Coffee is available all the time. Beatriz is a natural host and took very good care of us. From recommendations for site seeing, activities, safety precautions to helping with taxis. We also learned a great deal from her about everyday life in Bogota. Breakfast was good and fresh and WIFI was very good. A wonderful place to start your day at Colombia.

Located in a quieter area that is convenient for the main attractions. The building is lovely and clearly a lot of care and attention to detail has gone into the rooms. The property is maintained to a high standard. As many reviews have commented, Beatrix is keen to go out of her way to help you with all manner of questions, advice and support which was very much appreciated, particularly at the start of our holiday. Whilst is on a busy main road, the sound proofing and the security ensure you have a good nights sleep. WIFI is good and fast and breakfast flexible with time and choice including local options, homemade bread and jams. We stayed twice at the start and end of our Colombia adventure and were not disappointed. Overall excellent service and value for money, particularly if you book direct.

the property is located in a quite residential area with good security and safety, the owners Beatriz and Chris are extremely helpful and always there to help advise and do everything for you. we stayed in the suite and the room was very comfortable with plenty of space, the bed was very big and we had great sleep on it, the WI-FI was good, and the bathroom had any extra staff in case that you forgot something. the breakfast was good with fruit, arepas, pancakes and any other local food, and changes every day. over all perfect stay

My husband and I have traveled extensively and always enjoy the more personal experience of staying in a B&B. We carefully research and book only at the very highly rated ones. We have however never experienced the type of hospitality and travel support we enjoyed at Bogota B&B Inn. Not only is the setting exquisite but the kindness and generosity of Beatriz and her sister Chris is to a degree we have never before experienced. Our breakfasts included wonderful Colombian coffee ( always available!) fresh fruit, fresh squeezed juice, rolls , jams, eggs as well as tamales and yuca croquettes. Beatriz assisted us at every turn- walking us to local places ( supermarket, drug store, atm) . We also enjoyed a day trip with her to the Nemacon Salt mine and ended it with dinner at the famous Andres de Carne Res restaurant. She guided us to a local flea market , farmer’s market and even took us on a special shopping trip downtown so my husband could get materials to mimic some of the lovely work that Beatriz ‘s husband did on the beautiful wooden doors in the inn. Incredibly she also dealt with the domestic airline I was having trouble working with and set up bus transportation as we headed north of Bogota. From a careful read of reviews before booking at this B&B we knew that our stay would be no less than excellent but we were unprepared for how much comfort, kindness, expertise and friendship we would enjoy.

It's a lovely building, the rooms are fantastic and Beatriz looks after you as though you are her best friend and the most important person in the world. She was at the gate to receive us when we arrived, looked after us for the whole time we were there and went out on to the street to get us a cab when we left. She speaks fluent English but helped us with our Spanish because she knew we were keen to learn. This was our first time in Bogotá and it proved to be a great decision on our part to choose this as our starting point. A final thing worth mentioning is that though the inn is on a busyish road it is well soundproofed and extremely peaceful. What a great place.

I highly recommend staying here if you are going to Bogotá, Colombia! The owners care so much about you it is not even funny! They go out of their way To get to know you and take the time to make sure you are having fun and being safe. The house is absolutely beautiful with luxurious rooms and the detail put into it is insane. You have to see it for yourself. That house is a masterpiece and I highly recommend it once again. 11/10.

If you are visiting Bogota and you are not staying with friends or family in a private house, then you must stay here. Located in the quiet, safe and charming neighborhood of Teusaquillo, (which is easily and inexpensively accessible to everywhere in Bogota) this place has everything you need. Let's start with an incredibly comfortable room, private bath and rain head shower. The Inn has been beautifully and meticulously restored and will make you feel like you are in a home away from home. And the amazing hosts, (Bea and Ricky) who genuinely try to provide you with the best experience possible in Bogota. They will go above and beyond to make your stay memorable. There are many neighborhoods in Bogota that aren't just sketchy at night, but during the day, too. Not this one. I would be completely comfortable walking around by myself at midnight. Uber is cheap and any attractions in central Bogota are either walking distance or a 5-minute, $3 Uber ride. Plenty of great restaurants within the local neighborhood, as well. Ask the hosts - they will point you in the right direction! Also, don't pass up a chance to take a drive to the Nemocom salt mine and Andres Carne de Res in Chia. It's a full day of adventure and fun tooling around the countryside.

I don't even know where to begin... this place is amazing. The attention to detail is what stands out the most, both in terms of the customer experience and amenities. Beatriz and Maria took great care of us for our 3-night stay. They are truly gifted hosts. We met Rick briefly and learned about some of the investments made during the building renovation like installing 8-layered sound-proof glass to virtually eliminate noise, a high-pressure water system with hot water on demand, redundant wi-fi systems, and multi-filtered water for drinking and (amazing) coffee to go with a made-to-order breakfast. I could go on forever... My wife and I travel extensively and this experience is one we will be talking about for a long time. As a business consultant, I will be referencing this experience with clients as a "gold standard" of how to take great care of a customer. If you like to be spoiled, this is the place for you!

My partner and I stayed in room 4 for our first three nights in Colombia and spent our final night in room 7. Both rooms were immaculately clean and more than spacious enough for two people. Room 7 was slightly larger and both had thoughtful touches like universal power adapter sockets. What really made our stay at Bogotá B&B Inn exceptional was spending time chatting with Beatriz and Rick. Both hosts were lovely and they always had plenty of helpful tips for first-time visitors to Bogotá. Rick would kindly walk us to local restaurants and introduce us to the owners. Thanks to their delicious breakfasts I’m now addicted to tomales colombianos with hot sauce (which I haven’t had success finding in Sydney yet!). There are also some very cute and friendly animals living at the B&B – a rescue dog and three cats who hang out in the private section of the house and garden. If I ever return to Colombia I'll stay at Bogota B&B Inn and hopefully go out on one of Rick's tours :)

Hi: it is so nice to read your review and remember you two guys. We appreciate very much all the love and interest you showed by our country. You are exceptional people and it was a pleasure to have you here. Your great blog might have helped travelers to surpass the fear most people from over seas feel when they think about coming to Colombia. You also showed us regions of our beautiful country that we want to go with our little Satan. Thanks a lot and hope to see you one day back to explore other regions in Colombia. Love,
