I stayed for 2 nights in this hotel. This is a small budget hotel and I loved it because it is close to few attractions and public transportation. It is safe to walk around. It has got a small restaurant. Front desk staff are friendly and helpful.

In the La Candelaria neighborhood, friendly staff, free wi-fi. Dining room under renovation so breakfast was in a restaurant down the block. Room was very tiny, but not a problem for me. I liked this little place.

I stayed at the Ambalá on a few occasions when visiting Bogotá and then between my trips to Cocuy and Tolima mountains. The hotel is located in the La Candelaria, rather close to everything in the old town, as well as within walking distance from the Quinta de Bolívar, the Museo del Oro and the Plaza de Bolívar. The three...

The hotel was in a good location and the staff is very attentive and friendly. However, the room was very small, there was barely enough space for my suitcase. The mattresses were hard and the window was tiny and hardly provided any natural light.

We had a night in this hotel at the beginning and end of our tour. The first room we were allocated at the front of the hotel felt grimy and as there were a few hairs on the sheets, it wasn't clean. Same in bathroom. The thin sheet was on a mattress with a thick plastic cover. Also, it was...

I found this place through the lonely planet. This hotel is on a good location in old town of Bogota, steps away from action and historic sites. I stayed here end of october 2012. I didn't mind about small room, because most of the time I'm on the run and spend the majority outside the hotel anyway. The room looked clean, the breakfast was...

Great breakfast included! Fritos eggs are better than revuelting. The rooms are small, but clean and safe. Desk staff is nice and they will store your bags all day after checkout, in a locked closet. No matter where you're facing, your room will be noisy, so just bring earplugs. TV channels are fun, fun, fun. Wonderful location, just 2 blocks...

Stayed here in May as part of a G-Adventures tour of Colombia. The hotel is small and quite clostraphobic, I thought. The rooms are very small and dated, and once you have put your cases on the floor, there's not a lot of room to walk around, as there's only about two feet around the beds. The beds aren't particularly...
