Excellent location, service and very comfortable appartments. The area is in the best part of Bogota close to many good restaurants one of the best shopping centers in the city “Centro Andino” and above all the staff makes you feel like at home. Very convenient if visiting with young children
We spent 5 days and felt in a unique place: ambience, location, apartment, service, attitude, quality. Many years and places travelling and we felt completelly different here. Congratulations for a unique experience and for making us feel very good. The staff goes the extra mile.
I have been living in 8010 for 5 months now and I was hoping that, by now, I would feel "at home". However, although there is a very clear effort from staff to make 8010 look and feel cozy and familiar, it still feels like a hotel. Don´t get me wrong, the apartments are great, with very cool and trendy furniture, great shower (a must for me), awesome bed and good location, but in the end you have the same feeling of a temporary stay. I have no sense of privacy as the cleaner has the keys to my apartment and routinely enters to do her work sometimes when I am in the apartment. After I complained, the host at the lobby monitors when I go out to send the cleaner in - even when I ask for the apartment not to be cleaned. When I travel, I am required to say the date I will be back for "security reasons". It feels like I am being "watched and managed in my own home". As I said - no privacy. This can sound a bit unfair, especially that all services provided are great, but it is something that bothers me a lot so I think it might be useful for travelers who will stay for a long time and feel like me. Other input I can provide is that that there are no facilities at 8010 available for guests (no gym, business center, patio, etc..). However the hotel has a shared space for rent which can be hired at a costs. The hotel hosts for events or functions for external parties on a routine basis, which at times can be annoying if you stay at a room close to the back of the building. On the plus side I can say that you would have first class service and staff are ready to provide whatever you need. There is transportation (white cab) available at a moment´s notice, staff can go and buy whatever you need (20% surcharge - but cool as you don´t have to go out grocery shopping if you can afford the extra cost) and daily cleaning of apartment. My take on this is that 8010 sits between a hotel and a serviced apartment. However, when trying to be both it ends doing a poor job a both. It is expensive and service intensive like a hotel (no privacy, not "home feeling") and at the same time does not have the facilities a hotel would have (lobby bar, pool, gym).…
If you are looking for medium-long term stays in Bogotá this is by far the best option. It is very welll located (many dining options around), servioce is helpful and nice, appartments are big. This is by far the best option.
I stayed with Urban Living for 5 days, and enjoyed it very much. The appartments are excellent with nice scandinavian design and are brand new, with all you would expect of services from a luxury full service accomadation. The staff is very professional and welcoming which made the stay very comfortable as a second home away from home. The building is located in a nice and safe neighborhood and is close to the business district, restaurants, shopping, etc. The only bad experience was that housekeeping was a little too eager to help, and took my laundry from the floor and sent it to the cleaner the night before I was scheduled to leave, with the result that some of it needed to be sent to me by a colleague of mine staying in 80|10, and I am not sure I have received all my shirts back yet. However, it was all with the best intentions and these things happen from time to time, but for the future it could be wise to have a laundry form that should be filled in before housekeeping pick up the laundry. I would recommend 80|10 to everyone that is in need for a longer stay in Bogota.…
We have stayed twice in 80/10 for extended periods and can recommend it very highly. In addition to being well located for business and shopping it is also very convenient to one of the most important hospitals, Clinica Country and a large complex of medical offices and laboratories. Perhaps the most impressive thing about staying here is the caliber and attentiveness of the staff and level of maintenance in the building. Everything functions well, including a very fast internet connection which is very important these days, and if there is a problem, the staff are right on top of it. All in all, a super place and would recommend it highly to anyone coming to Bogota.
If you travel for business you will agree that a typical hotel is a poor substitute for home. 80|10 delivers a package that includes quality, convenience and comfort in the form of a fully appointed high-end apartment. This property affords access to all the services that you would expect from any exclusive hotel as well as proximity to a broad variety of dining and shopping options. I heartily recommend this property especially if yours is an extended stay. This urban living option is one that you will appreciate for its differences from a typical hotel.
If you are in Bogota on business for an extended period of time it is definitely worth looking at 8010. 8010 can best be described as a apartment hotel targeted at business people. It is centrally located in the North in a very quiet and safe neighbourhood. It is within walking distance to El Retiro and Andino shopping malls, and a host of top end eateries. Everything is new, having opened earlier in 2013. The rooms and furnishings are top quality. I had a larger one bedroom apartment with views over El Nogal. There was plenty of room to relax, and to do business. It was also a place that you could easily bring business colleagues back for a drink. Much better (and much cheaper) than a hotel for a longer stay. The staff, from reservations, check-in, concierge, transport and cleaning were all fantastic. Most were english speaking (which was a great help to me). The only downside was that there is no restaurant or bar on-site. That said, there were plenty of restaurants nearby.…
