I stayed at Lancaster last week and I just gotta say, I loved it. The customer service was amazing, everyone was extremely helpful and kind, Javier and Don Jaime made my stayed more comfortable and happy. Amazing people. I was down one day cuz that’s just me and Javier was the one who brought smiles to my face, beautiful human being, so thankful. I do recommend this Hotel and yes I will be staying over again cuz we always go back to the places that made us happy! Thank you Javier
Nothing prepares you for the highest possible service you receive in Lancaster House. From the moment you step out of the taxi you are treated as a royalty! Every one involved , from the doorman to the reception to the porter , even the room maid do the most to get this feeling. The discreet art Deco lobby with tasteful belle Epoque statues and old cinema photos make the difference. The rooms big impeccably clean and comfortable. And yes they speak...Hungarian too!’
Loved staying at the Lancaster. From the moment we arrived everyone made is feel like VIPs. The suite we booked was big and spacious and had everything we needed. Breakfast was varied every day, and we also enjoyed lunch at the Bistro. The Spa service was great! Definitely recommend when looking for hotels in Bogota
Breakfast was good. It was nice that it wasn't the same everyday. Dinner at the restaurant was excellent as well. Staff were nice and always tried to help. The room was cozy and had everything you could ever need. Good location with restaurants nearby.
Very comfortable and nice place to stay and explore Columbia's capital. Rooms are spacious and clean, beds are comfortable to sleep and relax. Good breakfast. Tasty food and awesome coffee and sweets in the lobby bar. I liked tasty welcome drinks as well. Will return for sure!
We enjoy the Lancaster , staff and location are great and the price is right . Awesome breakfast ! Last time we stayed we used the hot tub, it was beautiful and relaxing. The lunch buffet is also very good and again at a very good price!

This place is an absolute dream. These are basically entire aprtments located inside a full service hotel for an incredibly reasonable price. I thought the pictures looked good, but I was blown away. Everything is high quality and comfortable. The water is as hot as you could possibly want at every hour of the day. The internet is fast and reliable. I worked from the hotel for a few days, doing video calls to the US with zero issues. The area is also central and has plenty to do nearby. Highly, highly recommendd.
Everything here works to the perfection! Fast check-in, friendly employees, very comfortable and spacious rooms, we were upgraded to a suite with a huge balcony, and all the amenities you normally only get on the very luxury hotels. They pay attention to little things like a mirror for shaving, and my welcome beer was ice cold. 30 min to or from the airport if it is not peak hour. Nice breakfast buffet is included. The management has done an excellent job.
Stayed in room 602. The hotel is wonky and in disrepair. The attention to detail is atrocious: the cappuccino machine at breakfast doesn't work, the bathroom door can't be opened once closed (stuck), the kitchen door can't be opened once closed (no door knob), towel rail and bath faucet hang loose, toilet seat loose, the bedside lights don't work. The fittings (sockets and electric fan) are full of dust. The pool table is not usable (missing ball, caved in cushions, and extremely non-flat surface). Furthermore, the staff communication in the hotel is laughable : often one needs to request a basic item three times or more, because someone "forgot". Needed to request a saucepan three times, had to ask for juice at Christmas Dinner four times (it was set to start at 7pm, yet orders were taken at 9.40pm!) and most requests at breakfast came out wrong or were forgotten or were denied inconsistently (we were told that special egg orders were too late at 45 min before closing, but the next day boiled eggs were delivered to other guests 3 minutes before closing). On occasion the waiter staff would make a hmph-sound if we asked them to correct an order they got wrong (for bringing one tea, when we ordered two). The butter at breakfast had black mould growth (not sealed). The breakfast was always poorly stocked, with different items missing each morning. The staff have almost no passion to make guests feel cared for nor do they check on guests to see whether everything is ok (they clearly don't care)... One of the door keys stopped working twice. The budget has gone into promo pictures, and a fake English theme (nothing British at this hotel, so the theming feels very crude). When something is clearly broken, the hotel is happy to leave it be, and to aim for a bare minimum. Even the plastic flowers look dead at this place. Big disappointment. Only positive is the cheerful porter and friendly reception. Needs a big overhaul in management/leadership and an actual desire for excellence. Utterly mediocre. …
