This is a really good hotel for good price. Everything is with an artistic touch - starting from the lobby, which is decorated as the Pacific jungles. Unfortunately the staff speaks very poor English, but we got...
My partner and I stayed in a standard double bed suite. The stay was comfortable as we expected. The room was spacious enough for two, clean, bed was comfortable and bathroom/shower clean and ran well. The hotel...
It was clean, with friendly stuff, free wifi, comfortable bed, located close to the airport and offers good breakfast.
Best hotel I’ve stayed in Bogota so far. The area is quiet and safe with a nearby mall and Main Street. The breakfast buffet is amazing with great selection! The rooms are clean and modern and staff is very friendly.
This hotel is relatively close to the airport, has excellent offers, the rooms was nice and very clean!!, it had Direct TV not all chanels but enough to go by, the staff is really friendly and very helpfull, the...
I had an awful night in another place, and I was super happy to check in around 12. Nice and clean room and bathroom. Nice breakfast (fruits!) and I could have a late check out as well, so I could relax before my...
PROS -The location is pretty good. It’s easy to get to from the airport(30k in a taxi) and also a good distance from the bus station (15k). Around the corner is a Transmillenio station where you can easily get a bus into La Candelaria. There aren’t a great amount of food options around the hostel but you can find some if you are willing to walk 5–10 mins. -The hostel is safe - there is a gated door to the property and the rooms have locks/lockers. The local area is safe to walk in during the day. At night the surrounding streets are a bit quiet so be observant. -The hostel is SUPER CLEAN, bathrooms are cleaned and restocked multiple times a day. -Decent Wifi available throughout -A number of common areas to relax in - including a patio, games room, lounge and bar area. There is also a generous sized kitchen. -Staff were really helpful when asked about transportation, activities, booking taxis etc. You do have to ask though (in Spanish) rather than this information being given freely CONS -The hostel was quite cold in the common areas and in my room. I had to wear all my layers to feel warm at night. -There isn’t much of an atmosphere here, people keep to themselves. No organised tours or activities. But this may be a reflection of it being just after the pandemic. -There’s no breakfast here, you’ll have to walk 7mins plus to find a bakery or supermarket -My 1st floor private room was quite loud - I could hear everything happening in the street as well as downstairs in the common areas. It wasn’t a problem for me as I can sleep through most things but might be for others. Would stay here again but would probably explore other hostel options first…
My girlfriend and I stayed in a dorm room here during our trip to Bogotá and we absolutely loved it. The location is great and in the nice part of Bogotá, and there are parks, restaurants and bars close by. The hostel has an electronic gate system meaning it is very safe. What we loved the most though were the beds. They are so comfortable and they come with a duvet and two pillows. The beds also come with a huge safe drawer to store your big backpack, a light for readying and a charge point around your bed. The beds also have curtains for privacy. The WiFi is very good and works in the rooms. Water and other drinks are available for purchase. The showers are hot however you are not provided with a towel so bring your own. The staff are ok but messed up our check out time. The main downside however is that there is no breakfast in this hostel and there doesn’t appear to be any decent places within walking distance for breakfast. Overall though I would absolutely recommend staying here!…
I loved this hostel! It has the best balance between a homelike hotel and a social place to meet people. The fireplace makes you feel like hanging in someone's lounge. As a solo traveler, I felt really safe. The staff is welcoming and helpful if you're looking for activities to do in Bogota. The coffee they sell at the reception is really great. Would definitely recommend.
