Los Andes is an average B&B. It’s a 2-storey house converted into a B&B, well located next to the Zona Rosa (plenty of restaurants, bars and shopping malls). It is also 6 blocks from the Heroes station of Transmilenio, with which it takes 30-40mn in a constantly crowded bus to reach the Candelaria neighborhood (Museo del Oro station). We spent...

The aspects which should (could) be better are: there is no facilities in the room (tv, phone or radio) and its breakfast is not big deal...Excelent location, good team concerned about improvements in their service. It is simple as described in its site, it's safe and clean.

This hostel is a clean house close to the action of Zona Rosa. The price reflects the location but it is perfectly reasonable when you consider it is one of the best insulated and therefore warm hostels in town. I have stayed in the most popular ones in Bogota and usually need many blankets to stay warm. The staff speaks...

We booked a private delux doubled and it was extremely cramped . The room was small and the bed was a 3/4 size bed which we struggled to sleep in. That said there are twin rooms for the same price and the romms are much more substantial. We tried to move but were told that the hostel is full. The...

I was greeted immediately with suspicion upon arriving at this hostel, and when I asked for a dormitory bed they said they were not available at the moment because "they didn't have many people visiting at the moment" so if I wanted a room I had to pay the much higher price for a private room. Owners not welcoming, and...

Los Andes B/B in Bogota was a great place for my husband and I to stay during our honeymoon. It is located right by many restaurants and bars, and it is also close to the main bus line in Bogota (TransMilenio). The rooms and bathrooms are spotless, and the bed was really comfortable. You will especially enjoy the hot shower,...

We were there for a week in August 2010 for a friends wedding. Our spanish was rudementary and we pretty much unprepared for a trip to Colombia. Colombia has quiet a poor reputation in Ireland and we have since had a complete turnaround in opinion. Regarding the hostel it was spotless we stayed 5 nights. The proprietors were non intrusive...

We stayed here for 8 nights and can really recommend this place if you want to have a quiet room with a host that helps you with all your questions. Every morning Geraldo personally made us breakfast and was a good source of information. It's located near to a supermarket and a lot of other shopping areas. And they have...
