We arrived very early in the morning after taking a night bus from sucre and the staff were so kind and let us check in early for no extra charge. The room was great, very clean and bathroom nice. Wifi was definitely one of the best we've had so far. Good location and breakfast. The staff were amazing, bent over...

We stayed here for 4 nights before and after the Uyuni Salt Flats. This is a friendly hotel with great staff and in a great location near all the main sites. We asked for a room at the back away from the street and we stayed in Room 325. I am a light sleeper so this was perfect for me....

We had limited expectations of La Paz but our stay at Hotel Rosario changed all of that. We had a gorgeous room, so much personality and overlooking a great internal courtyard. The staff were so helpful (when we took a couple of taxis they took a note of the registrations). We walked everywhere that was local and never felt unsafe,...

Pros: clean and well located hotel. We did not feel unsafe walking around the neighborhood as suggested by other posts. Staff is helpful. Breakfast has a good spread. Cons: our room was very noisy, overlooking a side street with stalls open late into the night and early in the morning. You could hear very well the noise of luggage rolling...

I'd like to say a big thank you to Hotel Rosario, and especially to Jenny (Juanita) at the tourist desk. My wife and I were SUCH a pain in her butt. We didn't mean to be, and normally we aren't difficult travellers, but between altitude issues and stomach bugs we had to change our plans back and forth like five...

After 3 days in the Salt flats we booked a night at Hotel Rosario and enjoyed comfort, warm greetings and all the cozy amenities we needed. Highly recommended. In particular the rooms were uniquely Bolivian decor, clean and warm. Felt special.

After a 3 day tour of the salt flats, Hotel Rosario in La Paz was a wonderful place to rest and rejuvenate before heading to Peru. The staff was very pleasant - meeting our needs for a late arrival. The only concern I have is that the breakfast buffet (which is included) isn't really fully open until 6:30am.

The hotel is on a main street. The location is great but it was noisy. The courtyard is charming. The staff polite, friendly and helpful. I was able to book tours from their tourdesk. The room was clean and the bed so comfortable. The decor is pretty and bolivian. There was a heater in my room which helped a lot....

pro: breakfast at early hours, room service (expensive food though), hot shower con: breakfast itself, weak wi-fi, noisy room I found the hotel a bit expensive for what they offer: I had a much more tasty, varied breakfast at another hotel where I stayed in following days, where I spent the half of the money for 1 night. The wi-fi...

My wife and I stayed here for one night while passing through La Paz. Great location, friendly staff, and clean, comfortable rooms. We had an early 5 am bus departure the next morning but the staff made sure we were able to get a light breakfast before heading out. I will stay here again the next time I'm in La...
