The hotel room is great, clean, and comes with good cleaning and laundry service. The wifi was readily accessible, however only one device at a time can login per username. Conveniently, there is an Indian restaurant attached to the hotel, however prices are a bit expensive for Omani standards. Location is alright and near the Souq and Corniche. However, during... The hotel is located 15 minutes away (by foot) from the port, Mutrah souk and the corniche. Rooms are spacious and the staff (reception, restaurant and rooms) are very friendly and very accommodating. Good breakfast selection. A couple of bars in the hotel provide some entertainment when the outside heat is too much. The manager Bernard is very attentive to... More

I chose this place because of the rave reviews about the service. I did not experience this great service. I asked about museums in the area and the woman said, yes, there are museums in the area and went back to reading her book. I asked for them to arrange a taxi, they did not do this. I asked for... The hotel is very traditionally decorated and ornate with Omani culture. The soul is a short walk or drive away and the location is perfect for site seeing. Quram Beach is a 15 minute drive. The food is wonderful with a list of Indian, Asian and Omani cuisine at affordable prices. We were a family of six and stayed in... More

Nice hotel, decent location, clean. very nicely laid hotel -small lanes all within the hotel. But Small Beds, Small Rooms. Hot water seems to be an issue. Friendly staff. Parking is available. They have a Resturant & a Club also.

I must say that it is not the best hotel. The setting is little bit weird, the interior is bit tacky but what could we expect from the first hotel in Muscat?! I guess it was good enough. What I like about it is that they make sure that everything is clean! Can't complain anymore as long as it is... More

First we were really sceptical about booking this hotel, but once there, it was a really pleasant stay. Rooms are a bit old, but fully functional and clean, so is the bathroom, and i must say that rooms are quite big. There is an american bar on the ground floor, serving non and also alcoholic beverages for normal prices, you... More

It was not easy at all to find this hotel, but it was worth to look for. Old souq is around 10 minutes walk from hotel, front of hotel are many restaurants and markets. Staff were really friendly, helpful, and most importantly smiling. Room was really big and clean. Gym was okay. Breakfast was good. 2 stars hotel with affordable... More

This hotel has everything you need. Rooms clean and with free air con and free wifi. Staff are lovely, really helpful. When we arrived we turned right from the hotel and walked for about 20 minutes until we reached the souks which were delightful. Out the other side of them we reached a little harbour and shared a chicken dish... More

I stayed at the Mutrah Hotel for one night in May, alone. As a single female traveller I didnt really know what to expect of Muscat or Mutrah in particular however, the staff at the hotel were incredibly welcoming and helpful, they couldn't have done more for me. From negotiating taxi prices on my behalf, to giving advise on where... More
