Just a quick trip across the Gulf for the three of us. We had been recommended the Mutrah Hotel and used it as a convenient base for some relaxation. The room was very good - clean and spacious, but we had ordered the suite! Staff were very friendly and helped us whenever we needed. The restaurant is good value, and...

good, clean rooms. very friendly and helpful staff. good Restaurant open 24 hours. as hotel guests we got a 20 % price reduction in the restaurant. there is a fully licenced bar. there are good quality and cheap restaurants across the street where Indian and Pakistani workers are eating. the hotel offers shuttle service from and to the airport for...

The room is big and clean but view is not great. The location is about 25 minutes leisurely walk to the souk. The staff are excellent. We were surprised when the bell boy recognised and greeted us while we were having a stroll at the corniche. Mr Bernard helped us with booking of our tour to wadi shabs. He even called...

There are two Mutrah hotels - one at the waterfront and one at at Mutrah High St., in the middle between Mutrah and Ruwi. The later was the one we stayed at. For Oman, it's a good value for money, big, quiet and clean rooms. Internet is rubbish, better in the lobby. It's a but of walk to the Mutrah...

We stayed at the Mutrah Hotel as it is good value for money, central location to souq and seafront which both are in easy walking distance. The hotel staff are very friendly & always on hand to help, the rooms are big, comfortable with plenty of hot water & clean bedding & towels. The breakfast lets it down it as...

Hotel is conveniently located , there are restaurants , supermarkets etc opposite to hotel .Mutrah Souq is a long walk (~ 20 min) . Connecting to wifi is kind of difficult , since...

Budget hotel. Kinda weird place, weird room, but clean and OK. Some staff were making a lot of effort to do a good job whereas others seemed really checked out. Really convenient location. Ridiculous wifi set up in the hotel. My whole trip to Muscat was under $1000, which is really inexpensive, and I think choosing this place made a...

Mutra Hotel is OK, if you are looking for an affordable place near the historic core of Mutrah or Muscat. As for the location it is not directly at the Corniche, perhaps some 15 min walk along a rather busy street up from the sea. But a short drive by taxi. Breakfasts are great, rooms are OKish. Staff is very...

Very nice folks and a surprisingly generous breakfast. The staff was very helpful and the reception even has bicycles to hire / rent. But book early there were only two of them. One caveat: I had room 101 and it was mediocre

The Mutrah Hotel is one of the friendliest hotels we have ever stayed in! The staff are exceptional and could not do enough to ensure we had a great stay. Bernard is the ring master - organising amazing tours and making sure we had everything we needed. Jassim is the hotel guide and we spent two amazing days with him...
