Cheap quality cakes at high prices. They use custard instead of creme pâtissière. No taste no flavour. Only cheap cakes without any flavour... Don't waste your time ordering any cakes.. Not recomended at all...

Pastry is very good and the place is clean. We had paella for lunch and it was very average. Fish was chewy and rice with no taste. Waiters were talking from one place to another. The cigalon hotel is a 3 stars and very much average. No boiler in the room or tea...nothing.

Although there was some confusion leading to us not being picked up at the airport the rest of the stay was splendid. It's a little difficult to see in its anonymity arriving early morning. Rooms are clean, service is hospitable and profesional. At this price it's hard to find anything better. Thumbs up.

Some colleagues introduced me to this hotel. Well appointed, comfortable bed, clean, all amenities I required. The staff were friendly and the service was helpful and quick. Out of the centre of Beirut and good value. Very good solid 3-4 star hotel.

7/10 Clean room, 8/10 Shower with pressure. 0/10 Not enough plugs for connecting chargers 0/10 Wi-Fi free but absolutely disgusting. Many cuts, extremely slow... impossible for working. So if you are business man forget this hotel. No possibility to have two devices connected to the wi-fi. Absolut disaster. 0/10 Breakfast: Nasty Orange juice (tasting like medicine). Only included 2 toast,...

the food in this place sucks, they had before a very gd taste for the pastry cakes and meat/chicken(escalope,cordon bleu...and so on), but now, and from around the beginnings of 2015, their food became dirty and their pastry are always old and tasteless or sometimes taste like the lemon juice because they are old. you can find attached some pictures...

I got an UPGRADE to teh suit. Room was huge! too big without any luxus. Not needed. TV with cable was really boring. Over 1000 channels! Location is ok. Breakfast is served in the shop next to the hotel. Poor food: just a toast, coffee, mermelade... Nothing special.

This hotel is ideal for business traveler. Room are big and clean. There is a reception working 24 hours. But not bar at the hotel. there is WiFi but the connection was extremely slow. You have to take the breakfast in the restaurant (ground-floor). The restaurant is separate from the hotel. The hotel does not have access for people with...

Before booking La Cigale, I read the previous reviews (mixed), but took the chance and booked. While it is listed on hotel booking sites, I was unable to use their links to book my room. After a couple of tries, I gave up and found La Cigale Beirut's website and attempted to make my reservation. That link too was dead....
