Paid 75$ for a double. Which cost 120 a week before in hollydays, Location is one street down from hamra which is good, and bathroom was renovated with bath tub, but the room was scary, old cheap furniture half broken had feeling thy collected from garbage, curtains and bed cover look old and dirty, well room given to me pretty...

I stayed at the hotel 10 days. I loved the staff!!! The staff were probably the biggest highlight about the hotel. I had a friend who stayed at another hotel the third night and she came back to the hotel to ask questions because the staff were so nice and helpful (More helpful than her other hotel). Since I spent...

It's a nice hotel! Looks old school in a stylish way from the outside and in the lobby. The rooms are nice and simple and everything is very clean. The staff was very nice. The door was locked when we came back at 5:30 in the morning one night but a staff member came to the door within 10 seconds...

Lovely hotel in Hamra, just off the main street but nearby lots of cafes, bars and shops. Only stayed one night but the staff were very friendly and helpful, I had a lovely room on the 4th floor which was clean, comfortable, and everything in full working order. I cannot understand why this hotel has bad reviews; no it is not...

I stayed at the Embassy 5 nights, and was so glad I chose that hotel! The location was great--so close to restaurants and shops in Hamra, but off the loud main Hamra Street. The elevator, a.c., and refrig. were helpful, and it was nice sitting on the balcony in the evenings. True, the carpets were older and worn, but very...

This 3 star hotel comes with spotlessly clean bedrooms and bathrooms, firm beds, quiet a.c. units and airy French doors opening onto a balcony from my garden view room. The reception staff there-Ms Eman, Ms Elham and Mr Jemayl (who most obligingly found me a phone recharger at short notice!) are as friendly and helpful as one could wish for....

We stayed in a few hotels around Beirut but this one on average was the best we stayed in for under US$100 a night. Better for couple than backpackers. Less hostel more hotel. The hotel has both an elevator and stairs. Varying helpful reception staff. I suggest you confirm room bookings in advance as we had a booking confusion issue...

The hotel is very basic and some of the decor reminds you of a something from the 70's. The location is great and the rooms especially the bathrooms are very clean and of decent size. The staff are friendly and there's no need to book breakfast(not sure what they really serve) as there are tons of coffee shops and mini...

First things first, dont be under any illusions - my ratings are based on my opinions of what a 2/3 star hotel should offer. If you stay here expecting the Ritz Carlton then you will be disappointed. Location wise the hotel is on a small street just off the Rue Hamra, which gives it the advantage of being in the...
