There is a nearby hospital where we were visited a relative. Hotel clean and tidy, just like hospital. It is missing that vibe and ambiance of a good hotel. Invest more in making this a welcoming place.

This is the perfect place for a "getaway from work" weekend. Once a month for well over a year, my friend and I would meet up in Manama at the Ramee Baison for a weekend of fun! Booking is no problem. Rooms are fine (3 star) with all the amenities. It is the staff that make this place shine! If you need help with anything, they are there. They treat you like you are important, even if you are a humble working man. The rooms were around $90 to 100 dollars (a good price in Manama). Only the Holiday Inn Express and the Delmon offer similar prices for nice rooms and good buffets, but there's more to do at the Ramee. The Warbler (attached to the hotel) has the best buffet inclusive of free flowing beverages as well as live music. The food is phenomenal!!! If memory serves, the buffet costs around $80, but includes eating, drinking, and entertainment for the afternoon, evening, and into the night if you wish. Again, the wait staff are excellent! Everything is nearby the hotel! The front desk will help arrange transportation at a reasonable cost (or give directions to pre-arranged drivers). Lastly, it's not seedy or dodgy. It's a place where nice people go to have a fun time in a safe, clean environment. If you are on a budget, go with a friend, share the room, and get therough the weekend for around $200. I recommend it highly!!!

Hotel management has changed (it is now under a different hotel chain) and they did not honor a prepaid reservation made through Hotwire. Had to look for another hotel at 11pm using the internet on my cell in the hotel lobby. During this time, I could see the most strange types hanging around in and out of the club inside the hotel. Some of the women were definitely professionals. Neighborhood not very nice as well. Better look elsewhere.
