the facilities at this hotel are fine, the pool is OK, food is great, and the location is excellent in the center of the city, but what makes this hotel amazing is the staff! I know I tread on dangerous groud when I try to mention specific people because there were so many who took amazing care of us...some, I don't know their names. But it started with Winnie at Check-in and Talal the concierge who was very helpful. Even Samuel the doorman was helpful. In the restaurant, Alice was great at reception and Sujoy who seemed to be a supervisor and Charles was great (as were others). Kevin at the pool was wonderful, warm and helpful and Islam who took care of servicing our room was super helpful. At check out, we had great service from Solaymayne and Maha. My apologies to the other wonderful people who's names I'm forgetting.…

It’s was a great experience having being able to visits the Harvesters, where by i came across such a great team who were able to show case professionalism at its best. Was greated from my way in by Myla (waitress), Stephen (bartender) who recommended some drinks for me and Terry (manager) who came on to check up on me. A fantastic staff hotel And after all these years the hotel still up there rating wise. Love everything about this Hotel. Not to mention the food they offer and the activity they have from now and then. And because of their well trained staff, i can place this hotel in one of my top three hotels I ever been to. The Waves Seafood Restaurant has changed their menu to Asian (mostly Thai). Very good food food!! The Lobster Tom Yum soup was excellent, very spicy! Service was great, Ellie was very friendly and attentive! Great gym facility, cardio area and weights.

The hotel reception staff were very helpful, nothing seemed too much trouble. Karim was especially helpful. (Sorry if spelling not correct). Valet parking was not too much trouble and when required the car was parked in front of reception very quickly. The interior decor is fantastic, with everything spotlessly clean, the rooms were the same, immaculately clean,with comfortable beds, clean bedding and bathroom towels, and well equipped with iron, hair dryer etc. The pool, very clean with fresh covers on sun beds after every use, clean towels and free water. Disappointed during my visit as two of the restaurants were closed, with all information screens saying opening soon, but not in the duration of my visit, thus leaving limited choice of eateries. Spices India restaurant….. only one visit here as when the starter arrived, a Lamb on the bone dish, it was very burned on the outside with charged coating falling away from the meat, and the meat being so salty that it was inedible, this was also the option of the others in the group. The main courses varied in options from good to average. Upon finishing the food,a member of the group, tried to leave the restaurant,but, was told by staff, that no one was leaving until we had accepted our complimentary desert and the bill was paid,hence only the one visit. LA Mosaique……tried this one lunch, with less than ten guests overall, the meals were ordered, after a fairly long wait,the food arrived, with one full meal missing completely,another order should have had an extra bowl of fries, these too were non existent, hence on guest had to eat after the rest had finished, not a good impression to clients investors for lunch. On a second chance visit, again very few guests, our table waited over an hour for food, which when served was Luke warm at best, again one meal missing, and guest eating alone, during the wait not one enquiry as to whether any drinks were required, meaning a trip to the Harvester to get our own. The buffet breakfast was also served in this room, very large selection of food on offer, from cold meat and cheese to meatballs, curies, pastries, local food etc. Breakfast served from 6am, but getting there just after 6am ,the hot selection was Still cold, the baked beans and potatoes to name a couple of examples. The freshly cooked omelettes and other made to order food was good,but poached eggs were not hot just warm. The Harvester……. Again on a visit early in the stay, one meal was forgotten, with one order for bangers and Mash, turning up as a chicken pie !!!! However this appeared to be an isolated incident, as the rest of the stay the food was served in good time and hot, although a very limited choice of dishes available. Room service……… varied from good to incorrect food being brought to room. Overall a fantastic building with great potential, just not hitting the mark!…

Very good Japanese servings of salmon with rice plus vegetables on the side. And to cap it all, a glass of Australian wine. The staff are very outgoing and flexible to meet your choice of menu. This shared with friends during lunchtime or dinner is a great idea to bring people together ❤️
