Hisham Hotel is one of the oldest Hotel'™s in the Capital, established in the early 60's, at one of the most prominent locations of the Jordanian Capital, Amman. Over the year's the hotel managed by its owner Hisham Abdel Hadi was able to attract many foreign visitors in addition to the local community. The hotel is located in the middle of a quite attractive diplomatic area of Amman between the third and fourth circle and is within a short walking distant from Al-Khalidi Hospital which makes it quite advantageous to many of the business visitors to the capital.

We had to cancel our trip several times, due to the pandemic. However, they were nice enough to accomodate all the changes, and we had a pleasant stay at Hisham Hotel. The rooms are big and nicely decorated, comfy beds, clean bathroom. The staff was very welcoming and helpful, and the breakfast was tasty, pretty good selection to choose from. The omlette station on the terrace is a nice touch :)

The hotel is situated near to many clinics, so is very convenient for having PCR tests and for collecting the results. It is, however, very dated and the bathroom is not up to modern hotel standards. Non-existent toilet-paper holders, outdated showers and poor lighting were just a few of the things that need modernising. The air-conditioning in the room was not working on the first day, but was repaired by day two. However, some plug sockets in the bedroom did not have power and light bulbs in lamps were broken. As we were the only guests in the hotel, it was disappointing to receive an 'airplane' tray of food for breakfast - everything enclosed with plastic, no choice of bread, no offer of eggs, etc. The member of staff raced away as quickly as possible after delivering our trays. Even when we ordered a second cup of coffee he did not wait around long enough for us to order anything else.

Hisham hotel is an establishment well reknowned for its service, We are very disappointed at the review which wass thoroughly investigated with the staff concerned. The breakfast tray is a mandatory service at present to safeguard our clients during the Panademic. It is well presented and protected for safety purposes. Regarding the coffee service the guest requested turkish coffee which is not part of the offered coffee with breakfast and the staff did serve it free of charge . The guest requested a second service of turkish which our receptionist explained that it will be charged , the guest unfortunately refused. It was explained that they could have as much american coffee as they wished free but again they refused. The hotel is well maintained at the level of 3 stars and we really are very surprised at this unjustified review. The airconditioning issue was attended to as soon as it was reported. We do always welcome any comment hat would help us improve and we apologize and regret the fact that this guest was not fully satisfied with the offered services at the time

I stayed at Hisham Hotel 3 years ago and was impressed by it. On this occasion I stayed for 3 weeks and found it even better. It's in a great location...Jebel Amman is a nice leafy suburb with some great restaurants in walking distance of the hotel (Levant and Majdoline in particular). It's also close by taxi or uber to downtown and Rainbow Street. The hotel is well established and attractive, and the rooms are big and reasonably priced. The two owners are really friendly and helpful and the staff do a good job of looking after you. I noticed the breakfast had improved since last time, with more selection. Hisham Hotel has 3 bars - the rooftop bar was closed for winter which was a pity as the view over the city is amazing. The Dolio bar on the ground floor is a good spot for a drink in the evening. They have shisha and I recommend the local Jordan River wine. Twice during our stay the bar hosted excellent local bands who were amazing. If you want to listen to arabic music surrounded by locals it's a great place to be. (Note: if you are a light sleeper ask for a room away from the bar.) I highly recommend this hotel and will certainly stay there on my next visit.

The room is good, clean. The service is good, the staff is always present and waiting for a tip. At check-in, the front desk officer tried to confuse me to keep the rest of my money as a tip for him. Later during that day, I asked him to find me urgently a dry-clean place. He suggested a place the hotel deals with. As there was not much time left before the end of the day, the man in the dry-clean place vapoured my dirty clothes and returned them back to me wet, cologned, and dirty, saying that they were cleaned!! I informed this man that I wasn't going to pay for his work, and he didn't demand for his fees. He decided to leave this issue for the hotel to deal with. On the next day when I checked out, the same front-desk officer informed me that he tried to call the-dry clean man to know what he wanted for his fees but the latter didn't respond to his phone calls. For this reason I had to pay for my wet, dirty clothes by the front-desk chief officer who pretended that he would have to pay my charges if I didn't pay. Of course this phone call scenario was a lie as the dry-clean man was ready to accept any decision to be made by the front-desk officer. You have to be attentive and causious when entering this place. It seems that people there are used for such a behaviour. No decent attitude.

Dear Olila Can you please give me the excat date that you stayed at our hotel and under which name the room was booked as wee tried to locate the name Olilla but cannot find anything under record. Meanwhile we Thank you for so many kind words. May I know if possible the name of the front desk officer you dealt with as I would like to investigate this matter personally. Regarding the dry clean issue the staff were extending a service that is all. I am sorry if this si what happened and I promise to investigate the matter and revert. Once again please accept opur apologies as this is not Hisham hotel standard, the establishment is well reputed and we always get excellent reviews, I am therefore very disappointed at what has happened and will ensure that tis will never happen again Regards
