We stayed in this hotel one night in June 2016. The room was modern and comfortable. The front end staff spoke English which helped for informational purposes. Our dinner and breakfast were very delicious. The thing that upset me was I put a tip on the table for our waitress who was cleaning the table. The host swept in and...

stay at Grand Palace hotel and take advantage of its twin-ship with Regency hotel. both hotels are attached to each other. Grand Palace has no swimming poor nor a gym. no problem, you can use those facilities at Regency hotel for free. Grand Hotel cafe, that serves drinks, close at 11pm. No problem, use Regency lobby bar that close at...

I was here for 2 nights on a G-Adventures/National Geographic tour. The hotel was comfortable with spacious rooms. Wifi is free and works in the lobby and the bedrooms (but not in restaurant). You need an individual numeric password for each device you use it on, and the password expires every 24 hours so every day you need to call...

This is certainly not a 4-Star hotel by normal western standards (probably would be classed a 3-Star elsewhere). The rooms are due for a rehab, but I doubt that it will happen while tourism is as depressed as it is in Jordan. The staff was mixed with some very good and attentive people and some who seem like they couldn’t...

This was our first trip to Amman and the Grand Palace was a good choice. It was chosen by our guide and the rooms was very big. The bathroom was also big. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good and the dinner was ok. We went for a walk one night, but not much close by,...

We also stayed here for three nights as part of a tour group. Room was OK, had an old CRT type TV, the bed was reasonably comfortable, decor is dated but clean, we looked out over the rear of the hotel and were able to open a sliding glass door for some fresh air. This particular room didn't smell too...

Overall the hotel is okay. Not Grand, as it claims to be, but okay at best – very shabby, definitely needs a fixer-upper and a thorough clean. Not to mention the fact that the beds and pillows are awful and the bathrooms have yellowish dirt between the tiles. The food is, uh, passable. The selection is tiny, but the dishes are...

It's not a Hilton. But it's quite clean, beds are comfortable, has hot water, the air-con and TV worked just fine - that's all I really ever need! This hotel is a little older, and could do with some refurbishing to lift it a little, but it's still quite fine to stay at. I'm not sure if there are non-smoking...

This hotel was rated 4 stars and for the middle east I would think it was probably right on. However by usual American traveler standards we found it somewhat lacking. It was not a bad experience overall but was not quite up to what we had expected. The service was somewhat curt and short and evasive (again, to be expected...

I enjoyed my stay at the hotel despite the extremely smoking environment inside the rooms. Staff is friendly and they were always ready to help. You can take your breakfast at the Regency Hotel beside the Grand Palace Hotel.
