We are really disappointed because this hostel doesn’t answer to our e mail or call. We wanted to be refunded because of the COVID 19 crisis and it’s not possible to be in contact with this hostel. Please contact us !
The friendliest staff of any hotel I've ever encountered. Next door, at the Pizza Roma Cafe, they offer native Arabic dance and entertainment. Audience participation is encouraged. It is a good value, centrally located to all the major sites, downtown Amman, the Citadel, etc. and a good jumping off point to start a tour of the whole country. They also encourage people to write graffiti on the walls as a remembrance of their stay.
Rate includes good breakfast with hardboiled eggs, vegetables, hummus, bread, and option of omelets for additional price as well as orange juice, tea and coffee. The room itself is very basic and for the price it is very acceptable although may need some maintenance but you get clean sheets and a decent sleep. The owner runs an organization that feeds homeless and people in need which is very cool. You will see in the rooftop terrace some rabbits running and lovebirds in the reception. They offer to exchange money at good rates…at least I compared to exchange offices and the rate was the same so feel free to change money here if you are short on time. Unfortunately we did not take the free walking tour they offer but I heard good things about it. Quite good budget hotel
Loved the location of this hotel. Staff were super super friendly on all fronts and very accommodating. the owner is unique and helps the community in many ways. The chef Ron was awesome and they even give you cooking lessons if you like. The front desk was super helpful to get taxis and to arrange ground transportation for a tour of Amman. When you get here, you can get all your needs met in one shot. i highly recommend this place for a real Amman experience of locals, food and live music at the hotel every night. The location is right downtown and close to all the best shopping. Stay here and enjoy their hospitality. Amman Pasha hotel is very popular . The owner is very unique and he does alot to help out the Amman community. you can get a massage, learn Jordanian cooking and do all your shopping etc. from this one location.…
The hotel was in a great location in the old town of Amman. Close to lots of shops and places to eat. It was right across the road to the Roman theatre and up the hill behind the hotel was the citadel. The hotel has a onsite restaurant both on the ground floor and also the rooftop. I definitely recommend doing the free walking tour with Muhammad, he grew up in the city and will tell you how it’s changed so much over the years. Rooms could do with a bit of an upgrade.
