Great location, fantastic owner, breakfast was good. Terrific value in Amman. Room was good - everything worked and very quiet night of sleeping. They helped coordinating getting from the airport to the hotel, everything was great! Would stay here again.

Perfect location Hotel right in the centre of Amman, close to the Citadel and Roman Theatre. Restaurants, shops, market nearby. Room big but would need some refurbishment, otherwise kind of okay. We only spent one night here but the hotel had really loud renovation works in the afternoon, and in the evening at 10pm!! a man came to our room to install some tv set up, despite we told him that we don't need it. He left at 10.40pm!! He still wanted to continue with the set up but we had to send him away as we wanted to sleep (had to leave to the airport at 7am so we were not delighted.) The hotel management apologised many times as there was a misunderstanding with the repairman. Despite being at the back side of the hotel, I would advise to bring earplugs.

Our accomodation there was a disaster! The room was big but there was no air-condition or something for heating, only a small heating machine which was not enough for the whole room! So cold in the middle of the winter! What else to mention ...they didn't clean the room even once ! There wasn't WiFi at the beginning because of system's problem and after one day they fix it but you have to be lucky because the electricity felt down very often! Ok it is a very low budget hotel but some things are basic! Sorry but I don't recommend at all! The only good thing is that you are at the heart of the city!

Jordan is quite an expensive country to visit, so to find such good value as The Al-Houriat is amazing. Yes, it's a budget, tourist hotel, but if you book with that in mind it will exceed your expectations. The Staff, location and price were all excellent. What more can you ask.
