Firstly it is neither a hotel nor a heritage property. In fact the word heritage raised the suspicion of a dated building with musty carpets. It was not. It is a contemporary building and more correctly an apartment. The place is meticulously clean and organised. Located on the Rainbow street it is accessible by foot from the shopping area. There were two spacious rooms and a large lobby with a kitchenette. The views from the rooms are awesome with the citadel seen to the east. The front desk was very helpful.
We recently stayed here for 3 nights. The hotel is clean and the staff very nice. We love the location, right on the edge of bustling Rainbow Street. It is a great street to wander of an evening with lots of restarants nearby.
This is a small 3 star hotel in a very convenient location. The staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are basic but clean and functional. Basic breakfast included but no bar although this is offset by a great restaurant bar with rooftop called Canteloupe just across the street with excellent food, good wine, great service and elevated views to downtown. There is also another terrace bar with views next door. Downtown area with the Roman amphitheatre, mosque, other attractions and market shopping are easily walkable (15mins) but uphill on the way back. If you fancy a climb from downtown to the citadel it’s worthwhile and about 20 minutes. Recommended!
A great location close to Rainbow Street. Facilities in the room were clean and adequate - and staff were very helpful with queries and knowledge about the local area. Breakfast was basic but plentiful. Lots of lovely restaurants located nearby!!
The room was fine, as was breakfast (real coffee). What we found most noteworthy is the staff to whom we give five stars. The front desk staff actually pitched in and helped the young man remake our room when we needed it changed to twin beds. When we wanted breakfast very early the front desk guy and the security guard (who was always smiling and friendly), went out back and got it for us. When I wanted a restaurant other than those around the corner, the desk staff walked me down the street to show me the Wild Jordan Cafe which was exactly what I wanted but would never have found on my own. I would return anytime.
