Very comfortable bed with international chargers at the bedside, a couch and TV, free tea/coffee and water, free towels and toiletries and free WiFi throughout the entire building.
This is a must Hotel if you want to visit all the sites in down town Amman just a short walk from Rainbow Street, all the Souks , Hashem Restaurant and the citadel and Roman amphitheater .
Had organized a workshop in mid December at the Canary hotel, which was right after they have completed their renovation. They did not only meet a very high standard when it came to hospitality and hygiene but they...
This hotel was referred to me as it’s been modernized and under new management. The owners are young, professional and fluent in English, Russian and Arabic. I work in US tourism and will definitely bring...
A bit strange that no credit card facility's are available (but does say when booking) , ATM/bank is across the road. (5JD international fee) . Far away from most of the ruins but only a 3JD taxi ride to them .The lady at the reception was very helpful and even gave us a free later check out as out flight was at 4pm . A small selection Arabian style buffet breakfast.no room cleaning between nights.Room is spacious and has lounge and fridge. Slightly dirty though (sticky carpet and stains in bathroom.
I booked this hotel via Late Room and on arrival was told by a very rude receptionist that the hotel was full. I showed him my booking reference, but he remained adament that all rooms were occupied by a group. This was not my problem I said upon which he said that I could go to one of their so called sister hotel a few kilometers away. I remined him that I had a valid booking and why did they givevthe room to someone else. I asked to see the manager to which he first said that he was sleeping and then upon my instenence said that he was out of the country so that's why I couldn't talk to him. He even had the cheek to say that I could catch a taxi from outside who will charge me 1 JOD to take me to the their sister hotel called ' Gardens Hotel' I refused and asked him to provide a free taxi which he reluctantly agreed. Even the Gardens Hotel which they class as 3 star in my view should not have any star rating. GARDENS HOTEL WAS TERRIBLE AND DID NOT EVEN PROVIDE BREAKFAST - the excuse given was cous it was Ramadan. It had broken toilet seat, no chairs in the bedroom, no breakfast, broken towel railing. bath water did not drain away only if you push it with your feet, wash hand basin was leaking. I could go on and on but it's not worth saying anymore. SO PLEASE BE AWARE, DON'T TOUCH JEDDAH PALACE HOTEL OR IT'S SISTER HOTEL ' GARDENS HOTEL IN GARDEN STREET IN AMMAN WITH A BARGE POLE.…
PS: Collegamento internet wireless GRATUITO velocissimo!!!…
