Charming. Eclectic decor. Creative setting for breakfast - which was delish. We had a dodgy air conditioner on our first night in a standard room . We moved to a suite and were super comfortable. The location near the port and beach is terrific. Yulia restaurant a few minutes away. Had we stayed in the first room - this’d be a 4. So keep that in mind. Check out the bubble gum pink bathroom near the bar.
The hotel location is right on the Tel Aviv port. 5 minutes walking distance to the beach. The rooms are sound proofed and the hotel is clean and quiet. The rooms are a nice size for the price paid. If you choose to add money for a balcony - you must make sure to request the North side of the building directed towards the port. For the views, and mostly for the shade.
Nice family hotel with very friendly staff. Helpful front office workers. Teddy, Inna, Marina. Best location just five minutes walking from the Tel Aviv port and 10 minutes walking from clean beach. I'm also strongly recommend ask front desk about tours to Jerusalem. Hotel also help us to organize our transfer from airport and drive meet with us in arrivals hall in airport. For sure for next stay we will choose this hotel.
The Port & Blue TLV is a friendly hotel in a good location, with the restaurants of the Old Tel Aviv port within walking distance. Positivies: - Friendly service and front desk - Nice enough breakfast - Fast Wifi in the room - Budget friendly (given the high prices in Israel in general). Negatives: - Room (and the hotel in general) felt too dark. It would likely work well as a bar (it has a bar which opens at night and is quite popular). - Elevators were old style with a manually operated door - made it a bit clumsy. The floors of the elevators were always sticky for some reason. - Overall cleanliness could have been a bit better, but it wasn't bad either. - There is no sign anywhere outside the hotel that informs you that you have reached the hotel. We opened the door with trepidation, hoping that we are in the right place. Again - this seems to be standard in Israel, and not specific to this hotel. - Windows are tiny - Lots of noise from the street (from parties!) and I could hear everything from my neighbour's room - including when his phone buzzed for text messages. Overall it was a good enough hotel. I would stay again if were in Tel Aviv and a reasonably tight budget.…
Check in was more than half an hour late Room was not organized for four people when checked in We had to ask three time Comfortable room Great breakfast No coffee in room Common area very cool but not clean
I enjoyed staying at this hotel for six nights during a recent visit to Israel. The location is terrific. It's a short walk to the Old Port area, which is full of stores and restaurants. Dizengoff Street is a few steps away. There is excellent bus service from several nearby bus stops. Nice beaches are a short walk away too. The hotel staff are kind and helpful. The housekeeper kept the room clean. The room itself was spacious and comfortable. During several days of my visit, I spent some time working on my laptop, and I was glad the room was equipped with a desk, desk chair, and good lighting. I hope to have a chance to stay at the Port and Blue TLV again on a future trip!
Port and blue tlv is a great hotel in an awesome location at a great price easy walking distance to the beach ⛱️ shops, restaurants etc. The front desk staff are extremely helpful and pleasant 😀 👍 I will definitely recommend them to others traveling to Tel Aviv
I am in Israel for the first time, and my husband and adult daughter are with me in Tel Aviv. The fact that our daughter was able to stay with us on a pullout couch was very helpful. We have been able to get everywhere we’ve wanted to go, the hotel staff has been very friendly and helpful, the bed is comfortable, and the shower is lovely.
Stayed here with my family in April during our visit to Israel. In a city where the hotels are completely overpriced, we found this a reasonable option. Stayed in a deluxe suite, which was spacious and had more than enough space for 2 adults and 2 kids. The location was great in the Port area with lots of restaurants around the area. While the hotel was good and a great value for money, I thought it could do with some TLC.
Had a lovely stay at Port & Blue over Passover. Great little boutique hotel by the Namal (the Port). We had booked a suite for our family (2 Adults & 2 Kids). The room was very spacious and we had a lovely view of the Namal and the Water, Looking forward to coming back next year.
