The Tel Aviv boutique hotel scene is in full bloom and there are many options at the under $200 level per night, this competition should improve the quality of all the hotels. We were at the Montefiore 16 last week and it was fine. Check-in should include a little more information about the area and things to see and do -- instead it felt like the manager was also new to the hotel and figuring things out himself -- but he was very nice and friendly. The breakfast vouchers open the door to some of our local faves and the coffee shop downstairs is convenient and a great place to work (since there really is no lobby). I would also add that the outdoor bar area in the back is cute and in warmer weather would be a great spot for a drink or smoke before heading out for the night. Rooms are small (and we got a larger room) and toiletries and bedding were just okay. The location is incredible and you have all of central and south Tel Aviv right outside your door. Overall, if you can get a room here for $150 you will be happy, but if you, like the other poster are seeing rates approaching $300 a night, there are far better options available.…
We were shocked by the low quality of this hotel given what they charged per night. The rooms are TINY, there is construction right next door so we literally had drilling in our room. There is NO elevator and no one to help you carry your luggage. Very low quality bedding- we heard the sound of plastic each time we touched our sheets. The bathroom and shower are in two separate parts of the room which was so uncomfortable. We could just enter the hotel with no one present at reception which made us very worried for safety. Overall- worse experience we’ve ever had in Tel Aviv and we paid $300 per night!!
Modest sized , but characterful room with all mod cons, friendly staff, good coffee. Centrally located, short walk to all of Tel Aviv's attractions. Breakfast included in the tariff, and available from a selection of excellent local cafes - a great idea. Highly recommended
Everything was so relaxing and really cool vibes in the service and interiors. Very lovely! Easy to navigate to beach and around the town + great restaurants around the corner. You will love it and the staff here is so hospitable!
Lovely Boutique Hotel in an amazing location with really friendly and efficient service! · Both of the manager's (Sean and Amir) were incredibly helpful with everything from restaurant recommendations to where I am likely to find street parking on Shabbat in Tel Aviv! When I arrived in the peak of the Thursday night dinner scene with no parking available - Sean came out to my car and picked up my luggage so that I could then park and walk back to the property. By the time I got back my luggage was already in my room waiting for me along with some fresh fruit and bottle of wine! The location is fantastic easy walking distance to Rothschild Boulevard, Neve Zedek, & Shuk HaCarmel. The only challenge for a business traveler is that the parking garage that the hotel has agreement with, has no "in and out policy" so every time you move your car you have to pay.…
